How does one liberate the voice?
And what has to happen in order to achieve this?

I can’t answer these questions for you, but I can hold a space big enough for you to meet what’s in the way of your liberated voice - and I can guide you through unblocking and opening 🦋

I don’t believe some people can sing and some can’t.. through experience, in most cases I believe that when our voices are closed and dissonant, when it’s painful to sing - this is to do with a person’s relationship to expressing their authentic truth and taking up space - and in right relationship, things flow, blossom and bloom 🌺

This is not your ordinary singing lesson, this is a transformation (from 🐛 to 🦋) - this is how much faith I have that your voice just needs some loving awareness and intuitive guidance to open - and this what I can provide ❤️

I questioned whether to share this.. because who am I to talk of suffering and challenge while I sit on my comfy sofa in a safe town with food on my plate and socks to keep my toes warm..

and then I took it back to my own personal experience - and my biggest challenge being an internal one, a reconning with a mind that oftentimes could not find peace with this human life.. and it really has been my greatest gift - for me, with every challenge comes an equal and opposite reward.. and it takes great imagination to find truth in this - maybe that reward doesn’t manifest in this lifetime, sometimes there is nothing linear about it whatsoever.. and maybe you think I’m talking gobbledegook 😌

Coming back to gratitude for all of it, every time 🙏🏼❤️

Despite the increasing chaos, the violence, the hatred, the suffering and pain - there is a silent revolution.

This revolution won’t be televised, it will be felt in the heart ❤️‍🩹 A depth of love that can hold all of the unshed tears, that won’t look away in the face of injustice, a love that unites us.. it is bubbling up and blooming in many, and there’s a feeling in me that when one tastes the freedom of this love - they’d be foolish not to join 🦋

Diving deep into the design that made things the way they are today - diving for light.. a dismantling of a society that wasn’t built to hold the depths of feeling that comes with unity.. so that even in the darkness, we can breath and feel it all ❤️🫂

Joy And Love 02/10 🤗❤️

Now don’t get me wrong.. mental illness is a FUCKER.. but it has also been my biggest teachers, and for that, it is something I am most grateful for. It taught me that I can separate myself from my story/thoughts.. it taught me that I am strong enough to weather the storms of life.. it taught me to have more compassion for humanity. it taught me that I get to choose the direction of my life. It taught me that I have the power to change MANY things about my life. It taught me to write songs that would get me out of a hard place and bring light to the dark 🪨
