Weaving Grandma’s Coffin 🪷

This was a full family effort ❤️

@phabrixphil and @harry.adams.794 preparing the ply wood for the base and top. @katy_loves_flowers creating the most beautiful bouquet for the top. @cottageartsandcrafts and @weaving_with_izzy weaving the basket with help from Lilia and Harry ✨ @flepa_goon serenading us and doing the chores around the house for the weekend so we could focus on weaving. @katy_loves_flowers with help from @3leanor.m.adam5 sewing the inner lining ❤️

Grandma was thoroughly submersed in all of our love as she herself was woven back into the thread of life.

Our next weaving day will be the last Saturday this month! The 30th of May at the beautiful @mylittlefarm.uk in a gorgeous barn surrounded by nature. We are so lucky to be able to use their space for this!

Message me if you’d like to book on, we have plenty of spaces. And if you scroll to the final slide you’ll see an offering that @studio_marie__ and @iamizzyadams will be running the day before. This is a Singing and Sauna ritual. If you’d like to attend both, you are welcome to stay on the land over night and we can give you a great deal ❤️

Lots and lots of love! ✨ taken in My Little Farm by @thewisdomofwillow

Recent willow activity! One of my favourite things about weaving, is sharing the craft with others, and being able to hand make gifts for my loved ones. Being able to weave my love onto a basket!!

Weaving updated - I’ve also finally moved my willow to the garden shed! And it feels exciting to have different types of willow to work with!
- I’ve been teaching Jordan how to weave and was honoured to hear that he’s been teaching his 8 year old daughter! And that she is an absolute wizz.. being able to craft from a young age is the biggest blessing ✨

So grateful to @cottageartsandcrafts for handing down such a beautiful craft to me 🥹❤️ by @thewisdomofwillow
