What a week it’s been. We weathered the heat wave with irrigation management, the odd sprinkler shower & cold plunge. More seedlings rooted into the earth, the Cockerels are still smitten with the hens….. and always will be! We welcomed two new farm cats, who have won everyone’s hearts and settled in well. The weekend began with a Wild Woman’s Singing and Sauna Ritual were @shantisauna.hassocks & @iamizzyadams created a beautiful offering for us. Saturday welcomed our first farm tour of the year and an incredible basket making workshop run by @thewisdomofwillow which we hope to do monthly. Please DM if this is something you are interested in. The shop was open as usual and the BBQ lunch was a hit with our heritage meat and veggie options, cooked to perfection by our wonderful team! We ended the week on a high with gratitude in our hearts. Absolutely loving my perigordin basket, after an amazing course with the calm well structured tuition of Judy Simmonds at her amazing studio near Axminster. It was the most strenuous 3 day course I have had the pleasure of doing. Also great company, food and entertainment.
