Burning has always been sacred to me; (Burning Bay leaves was my very first practice as a baby witch 14 years ago)

This specific white sage bundle was gifted to me by the sweetest @teenis14 and it only comes out when my heart centre needs extra love.

The combination of anti anxiety + anti microbial properties appeal to me.
Not to mention you can feel the energy of the plant - calm. sure. strong in the tenderest of ways.

Circling my home (as my home is my hearth) thrice - doing anythng in 3s really - has always appealed to me. Though im asking the sage to help release, I walk clockwise for future.
Tis a practice of the Wiccan way that I’ve adopted to my eclectic style of practice.

To summarize - I’m going in on one of my dreams in exploring Herbal Medicines!!
On the October full moon I am commencing a 12 week journey with 6 particular plants via Xalish Medicines.

It feels too timely to deny that this is the next step for me in expanding my understanding and offerings of holistic healing modalities.

I look forward to sharing what I learn in real time.

Asked myself some tough questions this last week and then sat with the difficult feelings that arose with my answers.
What really matters to me? Whose opinion do I value? How can I honour my vessel more? How can I increase my capacity? Where am I ignoring my knowledge + intuition? Why am I choosing chaos?

So I’m back.
Going for muscle hypertrophy + overall simple, basic wellness.
Lifting to failure. Keeping workouts around 40 minutes with high intensity 4x a week and nailing the 10-12k steps daily. It’s an adventure in learning and I’m finding the joy in it again

Sleep is horrendous right now but I know it will come. Under eating is an issue that I will conquer.

Basically I’ve been in my head and not living in my body. Life - ya know?
I will control what I can, and then allow whatever will be, to be.

Squats: an exercise I have done twice in 4 months. 😅
I’ve lost strength and I have gained perspective.

In summer season, I become stagnant. Like burnt toast. Bleh.

Fitness has taught me that it’ll always be there for me. That I can build and deconstruct. I can pivot and change my goals. I can be a couch potato for months, and still come back.

I lost love for lifting after my first comp in April - getting back into it feels good.
And I’m ready for those morning workouts……
5am club, I’m comin back!

Descending squats 10,8,6,4.
Top weight 195lbs.
