POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
The older I get, the more I realize travel was never just about seeing places. It was about realizing how many different ways human beings can exist.

How differently people love, eat, socialize, rest, communicate, celebrate, grieve, express emotion, define success, experience loneliness. You spend enough time moving through the world and eventually your own life stops feeling like the default setting…

And I think that’s why travel changes people so deeply 💭.
Not because it makes life feel bigger, but because it makes your old worldview feel smaller.

Tell me the place that shifted your perspective permanently.

Part 4 | 24 hours living with a Maasai Tribe in Kenya 🇰🇪

From the moment we arrived, time slowed down.

We sat with Maasai warriors who shared stories passed down for generations, learned how survival is woven into every aspect of their daily life, and even attempted the iconic Maasai jumping dance.

As night fell, we built a fire the traditional way—no lighters, no shortcuts—just sticks, stones, and patience. We listened to folklore under a sky untouched by city lights, surrounded by voices that carried the wisdom of centuries.

Morning came with a new perspective. The Maasai’s way of life is deeply rooted in nature, yet even they are adapting to a changing world. What once was taboo is now shifting, but their spirit remains unshaken.

This wasn’t just a visit; it was a glimpse into a world where strength isn’t just physical—it’s in their stories, their traditions, and their ability to evolve ❤️.

Promise this is the last volcano dump 🌋

But I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that this actually happened 🤯

You spend hours hiking up Acatenango, freezing in a tent, barely sleeping, and then Fuego just starts casually erupting across from you like it’s no big deal.

The ground shakes. The air changes. The sound arrives a second later, rolling across the mountains like thunder you can feel in your chest.

I’ve seen a lot of places while travelling, but watching an active volcano erupt under a sky full of stars is one of those experiences that permanently rewires your definition of “unreal.”

My camera roll is now 90% volcano and I regret absolutely nothing 🤏🏽🤪

I spent 4 years in France, did my master’s in Barcelona, and moved back to Mumbai almost 4 years ago.

And I’m just now able to talk about how hard it actually was.

Not the distance. Not missing people. The coming back. The reverse culture shock. The feeling that you’ll never fully settle again. The grief of a chapter that’s just… over.

This is everything I wish someone had told me before I moved back ✨.

If you’ve ever lived abroad and moved back, you already know. And if you haven’t, save this for when you do 💙

I want to be lost in Japan again 🥹 sipping on matcha, wandering through quiet Kyoto streets, getting caught under the glow of Tokyo lights, chasing neon signs through Shibuya, stopping by tiny ramen bars, watching the lanterns flicker in Gion, and taking the long way through Japan just because every corner makes you feel something.

Missing the cherry blossoms, konbini runs, shinkansen rides, izakayas, temple bells, warm bowls of ichiran ramen, and that feeling of being completely nowhere and everywhere at once 🇯🇵🍵✨

Part 11 | I TOOK A HOT AIR BALLOON FLIGHT OVER MAASAI MARA! 🇰🇪🦁

A sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara. The kind of stillness that makes you feel tiny… and alive 🥹

We drifted low enough to graze treetops, soared high above elephants and hippos, and let the sky do the storytelling.

Wait till the end—landing was nothing like you’d expect 😳

ALSO TELL ME THE LIONESS AT THE END ISN’T RIGHT OUTTA LIOK KING 😭 my jaw was on the floor

IS THIS WHAT LIVING ON MARS FEELS LIKE? 😳

I just spent a night in the extraordinary domes of Sun City Camp @suncity_camp in Wadi Rum, Jordan 🇯🇴. The very first camp in the valley to bring the Martian Domes to life! 💫

Picture this: a futuristic bubble tent with panoramic desert views, where crimson sands stretch endlessly and the night sky feels close enough to touch. It’s plush, surreal, and yet deeply rooted in Bedouin heritage — complete with comfort, private terraces, and stories written in sand and starlight 🌠! We saw a galore of shooting stars, in ONE NIGHT!!

If the word surreal had a destination, this would be it.

social battery: 0% 🫠🍃

A serious note on being social:

I’m actually very social. I can talk to pretty much anyone, regardless of age, background, profession or where they come from. What I find strangely difficult is building a life around people in one place.

Everyone is always making plans. “We should do dinner.” “Let’s catch up next week.” “I’ll call you when I’m back.” And then three months pass and you realise you haven’t actually seen each other.

I’m guilty of it too.

I also have this weird relationship with Instagram. I’ll meet someone once, have a great conversation, follow them, and then quietly know there’s a very good chance I will never see this person again. Yet somehow we’re now connected for life through stories of each other’s brunches.

It’s funny because travelling feels completely different. You meet someone in another country, realise within an hour that you have the same sense of humour, the same curiosity, the same energy, and suddenly you’re spending the next three days together like you’ve known each other for years.

There’s something about being away from your usual routines that makes people much more open. You’re both there because you want to be there. Nobody has to schedule a catch-up six weeks in advance. You just say, “What are you doing tomorrow?” and somehow tomorrow becomes a plan.

Back home, everyone seems to be perpetually busy, perpetually planning, and somehow perpetually unavailable.

Maybe I just need to travel more.

Or maybe I need to stop accepting plans that begin with “we should definitely meet soon.”
