@solbarmusic thank you!! Thank you for amazing years of supporting sunny coasts live music scene! You fostered so many emerging artists like myself, giving us a platform to connect with audiences from playing gigs at the front bar to support slots for big touring artists, to hosting our own headline shows! Thank you @captain_pissy_pants for believing in me to give me my very first headline show at Solbar, it gave me all confidence I needed as an emerging artist in the industry! I supported bands I couldn’t even dream of supporting at Solbar! I learnt about how it feels to play on a stage with full production! I came into myself as an artist through solbar navigating stage presence with more than just playing a guitar!

It was the first gig I ever played when I moved to the Sunshine Coast and I had rocked up at the old Coolum address ringing in saying, ‘I can’t find it’!

Not only this, but I have a personal connection with this place! Wild nights on the dance floor with mates and also asking my now fiancé to be my girlfriend!

I’m absolutely gutted to see the end of this place! I’m forever grateful to Lis and the whole team who looked after me there and every single person who ever bought a ticket to one of my shows! The Sunshine Coast music scene will be left with a huge void! taken in Solbar by @iamkarlou

Thank you so much for all the love on the new song, ‘Someone Else’! The amount of sweet messages of love and support has been so appreciated! I wasn’t sure how the song would be received and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous to release it! It may be the end of the KARLOU project but just the beginning of a new journey! I feel so grateful to have the amazing support system I do and an amazing partner who stood by me from the start! ❤️🏳️‍⚧️
I also want to acknowledge all the people who helped bring this song to life, @jevacado co-writing, @mattmcguffiee on prod, @jareddaly on mix, @paul.blakey.mastering on master and @the_archive_co directing, filming and editing the music video! I am beyond grateful working with you all over the many years of this project! by @iamkarlou
