POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

something very special that I’m proud of emerged into the world this week ✨

I met @iamkarlou a few years back at songwriting camp, I remember I was crashing out over a boy (surprise surprise) and Karz read our texts and helped a brother out.

we bonded over our love for @chelseacutler @jeremyzucker and from there we wrote a banger ‘Bitter’, which unexpectedly but unsurprisingly did really well on Spotify & editorials.. beginning our writing relationship together.

we’ve penned a few great tracks since then, but when Karz hit me up a few months ago with some very big news and wanted to write a song about it - I felt so so incredibly privileged to be trusted with his story.

I know how incredibly difficult coming to terms with your identity in this world can be, so I’m so fucking touched and so fucking proud of @iamkarlou and this beautiful piece of art we made together 🏳️‍⚧️🩵🩷🤍

of course beautiful prod by @mattmcguffiee

thank you for being brave enough to share your story and be vulnerable in a time when the world needs to hear it the most - and thank you for trusting me to be a part of it, reminding me what music is all about 🩷🩵🤍

you can listen to ‘someone else’ - Karlou wherever you stream your music now!

big love my man x

We were stoked to deliver our inaugural Bluff Fest 24 on Saturday - live from Alex Surf Club in Buhk Family Park.

Thank you to our amazing crowd, artists, volunteers, events team and partners who made this event so special. Thank you to @sunshinecoastcouncil for your support - we couldn’t do it without you all!

Such an awesome time and good vibes as our fabulous community came together to enjoy local & interstate original Australian music. Your respect for the park, the environment and those around you was incredible ❤️‍🔥

Wrapping up #ausmusictshirtday with the best! @iamkarlou

(Part 2)

Happy #ausmusictshirtday ! Such an important day on the Australian music calendar where we recognise all the incredible artists in Australia by wearing a Aus music shirt... I decided I'd take it to the next level and wear *24* of them, one to represent each hour of the day!

We have the most unique music scene in the world, with so many different subgenres, sounds and an entire community dedicated to these artists with @triple_j and @synmedia both having championed artists from the ground up, amongst many other networks that are not mentioned here.

It's always so rewarding to see the promising young artists you found one time evolve to their full potential and many of these have done so. Once again thanks to all the performers in front of the stage but also behind the stage at @supportact do yourself a favour and give a donation to this brilliant organisation that supprts this culture grow.
