something very special that I’m proud of emerged into the world this week ✨

I met @iamkarlou a few years back at songwriting camp, I remember I was crashing out over a boy (surprise surprise) and Karz read our texts and helped a brother out.

we bonded over our love for @chelseacutler @jeremyzucker and from there we wrote a banger ‘Bitter’, which unexpectedly but unsurprisingly did really well on Spotify & editorials.. beginning our writing relationship together.

we’ve penned a few great tracks since then, but when Karz hit me up a few months ago with some very big news and wanted to write a song about it - I felt so so incredibly privileged to be trusted with his story.

I know how incredibly difficult coming to terms with your identity in this world can be, so I’m so fucking touched and so fucking proud of @iamkarlou and this beautiful piece of art we made together 🏳️‍⚧️🩵🩷🤍
