Calling all families in the GTA! Get ready for a magical holiday celebration filled with joy, laughter, and love! We’re thrilled to bring you Kidsmas Giftback 2025 — and this year we’re doing even more. In addition to holiday gifts and fun activities, we’re joining hands for the Jamaica Hurricane Melissa Relief Initiative 🇯🇲 because this Christmas, our community reaches across borders. Once again we are teaming up with our collaborative partners @impact_n_communities @smilingfacesto @therealhnic to bring you a fun filled joyous afternoon.

Date: December 13, 2025
Where: Scarborough East Boys & Girls Club
62 Orchard Park Drive - Scarborough
Time: 2pm - 6pm
What to expect:
• Holiday gifts & treats for all registered children
• Festive games, crafts, photo ops with Santa & more
• Fun, community vibes + holiday magic for the whole family

How you can help:
When you register, please bring at least one donation item — tarps, school supplies, toys/gifts, non-perishable food or hygiene supplies — to support our relief efforts for families impacted in Jamaica.

Who Can Attend:
Children ages 0–12 years + parent/guardian (registration required for each child + parent)

JAMAICA NEEDS US NOW.🇯🇲🙏🏾🇯🇲

Hurricane Melissa has left our beautiful island in crisis, homes destroyed, families displaced, and communities in deep need. As a proud Jamaican, who truly lives her country, my heart is broken for my island and my people.

I’ve decided to add a Jamaica Hurricane Relief to my annual @kidsmasgiftback this year.

Together with @orica.smart, owner of the @theospot (for the drop off location) and @herlegacyorg (who runs a monthly food bank) we’ve launched a Jamaica Hurricane Relief Drive to collect essential items and funds for families affected across the island. We are inviting you to joins in helping the people of Jamaica ❤️💛💚

How You Can Help:
Drop off non-perishable food, toiletries, clothing, children’s toys, school supplies, hygiene products, blankets, and cleaning supplies.
📍Drop-Off Location: The O Spot, 362 Kingston Rd W, Unit 5, Ajax

📅 Drop-Off Days:
Wednesday- Saturday: 10AM–6PM
Sunday: 11AM–4PM

Can’t make it in person?
You can also provide financial support through Jamaica’s Official Government relief fund: SCAN BARCODE on FLYER

One thing turning 50 has confirmed for me…

Waiting for people to be available is a terrible travel strategy.

For years we say:

“When everybody can get the time off…”
“When someone can come with me…”
“Maybe next year…”

Meanwhile, life is LIFE-ING.

At some point you have to say, “You know what? I’ll go.” ✈️🌴

And sometimes the person you needed to travel with was YOU.

My last few days in my 40s. 🧡

That’s such a strange sentence to type.

But here’s the surprising part…

I don’t want them back.

I’m grateful for everything my 40s taught me, gave me, took from me and required of me.

I built.
I lost.
I loved.
I learned.
I took chances.
I started again.
I walked into rooms I once only dreamed about.

And somewhere through all of it, I became more ME.

So I’m not spending these last few days wishing I could go backwards.

I’m thanking the woman who carried me here… and trusting the woman who’s about to take it from here.

My 40s did their job. ❤️
