THE END.

No more Fridays at the Lunt.
No more 109.
No more rushing for the front row.
No more texting each other to ask what seats we got.
No more walking into the theater with that feeling of excitement in my chest.
No more reaching for Kristin’s hand during Alive Forever, knowing we’d both be in tears.

Because somewhere along the way, I found my person.

This theater became my safe place. These people became home. These Fridays became part of who I am.

Thank you for every laugh, every tear, every standing ovation, every stage door, every hug, every friendship, and every memory.

And then, there was @thejennifersimard

Somewhere along the way, you became one of the reasons this place felt like home.

It was never just admiration. It became comfort.
It became familiarity. It became, “I’m okay. I’m here. I can breathe.”

Every time you stepped on that stage, I would just… relax. Like everything felt a little lighter for a while. Like I could just exist in that moment, and that was enough.

So yeah.

I still can’t quite process that it’s over.
I don’t know how to say goodbye.
And I don’t like goodbyes.

…about how I fell in love with Death Becomes Her.

To be honest, I waited a long time before seeing it.

Back in March ‘25, I won the ticket lottery, but I didn’t want to go alone. (Or maybe the stars just weren’t aligned yet.)

Either way, DBH kept finding its way back to me. Then it went viral, and seeing it became my mission.

I waited until the week after the Tonys. (And, for the record, that year I’d seen every nominated play and musical.)

As fate would have it, while I was at an event during the Tribeca Festival, I won the lotto again for the very next day.

That had to be a sign.

There was no way I was letting it slip away again.

This time, I was ready.

Front Row Center. Seats 107–108.

IYKYK.

Needless to say, the experience is different from the front row.

I was completely captivated from the very first second I stepped inside the Lunt. (A place that would eventually become home.)

I was back less than five days later.

I guess that says it all.

Every visit felt different. I always noticed something new. I saw countless cast combinations—each one brilliant, each one unique.

Five days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. And before I knew it, I had walked through those doors 52 times.

Along the way came friendships that only this show could have brought into my life, and for that I’ll never stop thanking the universe.

Thank you for being part of my perfect bubble.

To my friends, the usher, security, the cast, the orchestra, everyone working behind the scenes, and everyone who helped make this show what it was…

Thank you.

Thank you, fifty-two times over.
