Everyone who knows me knows how much I love DBH. It’s more than a show. It’s comfort during dark times and it brought me the greatest group of people I’ve ever had the honor of calling my friends. Getting to see my favorite show with my favorite people was everything I’d hoped and more! Getting to meet Jenn and Josh was 2 of the greatest moments of my life. It may have closed but it’ll be alive forever 💜 Siempre Viva!

DBH brought me lifelong friends and gave me a community with some of the best people. DBH brought back my love of performing and the confidence to pursue it

Also, a special shoutout to my closest friends who came to see the show just because they knew how much it meant to me, those were some of my favorite shows 💜

I walked into the Lunt 57 times and somewhere along the way it became a second home. I’m heartbroken that this chapter has come to an end, but I’m endlessly grateful that I got to experience it.

Three weeks have gone by and I think a small part of me is still sitting at the theater waiting for the curtain to come up

A Woman, A Role, And A Show That Has Changed My Life In The Matter Of A Year. Who Would’ve Thought One TikTok Of Thee Iconic Jennifer Simard Singing Tell Me Ernest Would Lead To A Year I’ve Had. This Year I’ve Found A Role Model, Forever Friends, And Some Of The Greatest Memories I’ll Ever Have.

Because Of This Show, I’ve Been Able To Experience Things That Little Jocelyn Would’ve Never Imagined! I’ve Found A Group Of Girls That Are My Biggest Supporters And I Of Them. The Memories I’ve Made With Them Will Be Forever Engrained In My Soul.

To Have Found A Role Model In Jennifer Has Been One Of The Best Things To Have Happened In This Journey. Her Resilience And Empathy Has Taught Me How To Embrace Emotion And Know That You Will Come Out The Other End Of Whatever You Are Going Through. No Matter How Hard It Is, She Has Shared With All Of Us That Not Every Path To Healing Is Linear. She Has Taught Me That It’s Okay To Feel And To Also Set Boundaries. It’s Not Always Easy And I Commend Her For It.

As Sad As It Is To Say Goodbye To This Role Of Helen Sharp And Death Becomes Her, I’m Excited To Celebrate Jennifer.

Thank You To All That Have Been On This Beautiful Journey.

We’d step into our light, go out in a blaze of glory 🔥✨❤️

On May 23rd 2025 I found a video of Tell Me, Ernest. This began the most beautiful chapter of my life. I’ve had the honor and privilege to travel to the jaw dropping Lunt-Fontanne Theatre 4 times. 2 of those 4 times were to sit in the front row. An electrifying experience that created an unmatched connection to the magic occurring on stage.

To the creators, musicians, principal cast, ensemble, swings, standbys, ushers, security, and all who had their hand in making @deathbecomesher what it was…. Thank You! Those two words can’t possibly express the enormity of gratitude I feel for each and every one of you. You all worked together to weave the most majestic tapestry of art for all to marvel at. Your dedication to your craft effortlessly shines through!

Because of @deathbecomesher ….I have created deeply meaningful friendships that will last a lifetime. I’ve jumped out of my comfort zone more times than I can count! This music has become the soundtrack to my life. No matter what was happening in my real life, DBH provided a constant space for me to find comfort, laughter, and joy. It also became a place where I could reflect and process the difficult times I was experiencing. When I felt completely alone…..I never truly was because I had DBH and the friends I’ve made because of it.

Where do I begin?? @deathbecomesher you gave me such joy and happiness over the years. The five times I came were the most fun I’ve had, even with the tears at the last show.

To @thejennifersimard, @bwolfepack, @meganhilty, @christopher_sieber, @michellewilliams, @taureanje, and @josh.lamon - thank you bringing these characters to life and giving these rolls your all. Being able to witness you perform was pure magic.

And to all of the friends I made along the way 💜 I loved running around the city with you and sitting outside the Lunt. I’m so glad I got to experience this show with you. And wish we took more pictures. See you all again soon!!

A month ago I was in the city I’ve wanted to go to for quite a while… NEW YORK CITY!!!! It was the most magical experience of my life. To the 3 of my heroes I met while I was there:
Jenn: thank you for being so unbelievably kind to me and everyone at the concert. Thank you for being such an inspiration snd beautiful bright light to so many including myself! And thank you for showing me what true self love and confidence looks like
Patrick: thank you for being so so sweet and putting up with my rambling. Thank you for GGDD and TCO and for showing me it’s ok to be a loud and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.
My Joshie: thank you so so much for taking the time to chat and take pictures with me and my friend. We are friends for life now! You are so so sweet! Thank you for putting up with my non stop Cameo orders lol.
And finally to my sisters in the HEGB chat: thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so kind and supportive of me and letting me unmask and stim my little autistic heart out all weekend. we are family for life 🩷

Best Experience Of My Life!

I’d Say I’ll Stop Talking About This Trip And Experience Sooner Or Later, But Why Would I? I’m Truly Blessed To Have Had This Experience With The Best People Ever. I’m So Overwhelmed With The Amount Of Love And Friendship That I Got To Experience With All Of These Amazing Ladies.

It Was A Privilege To Meet New Faces And See Familiar Ones. Friendship Is So Important And I’m Glad I Found It With My Little Group. This Trip Was Definitely Healing.

Thank You To The Cast And The Staff Of Death Becomes Her For Making Dreams Come True. I Appreciate The Time And Effort That They So Kindly Gave Me. That Definitely Doesn’t Go Unnoticed.

Now, To Talk About Jennifer’s Concert! What A Once In A Lifetime Experience. I’m So Grateful For The Experience Jenn Gave Each And Every One Of Us. You Could Tell How Genuinely Happy And Appreciated She Felt. For Her To Come Out After The Show And Greet Each And Every One Of Us Is Mind Blogging. She Truly Didn’t Have To Do That, But She Did! With Ringing In The New Year, I’m So Excited To See What The Future Holds. The Year 2025 Was A Year Of Change For Me. I Am One That Is Not Always Welcoming To Change, But This Year I Am Learning That Not All Change Is Bad. I Have Met So Many Amazing People This Year That I Have Bonded With Through A Shared Love And Admiration. The Theatre Community Can Be Such A Beautiful Family. The People In It Can Be The Ones That Are There For You When The Ones Close To You Might Not Understand Who You Are Or What You’re Going Through. There Is So Many Things I Have To Be Grateful For In The Year 2025. When I First Saw That Death Becomes Her Was Turning Into A Musical, I Said Count Me In! Then, Like All Of You, I Got To Know The Actors That Made Up This Powerhouse Of A Show. This Show Has Brought So Many Amazing Opportunities. It Has Brought Me New Friends That Are So Genuine And Loving.

As For Jennifer, I Have So Much Appreciation And Admiration For This Beautiful Soul. Although A Lot Of Us Don’t Know Her Personally, She Has Been A Person To Lean On. She Is Someone That Can Make You Smile, Laugh, Cry, And So Much More! She Has Become A Role Model For Many Of Us Through How She Carries Herself. No Human Is Perfect, But As Jenn Has Showed Us That It Is Important To Keep On Pushing. Don’t Let Big Things Stop You.
