The I AM Me Project Inc. based in Baltimore, MD is a nonprofit organization founded in 2015. Our mission is to empower, educate, and inspire young women and girls as they embark upon the journey of discovering “who am I” to “who I am”.

Founded by Keisha Blake, a dynamic and passionate leader dedicated to empowering, educating, and inspiring young women.

She has been a driving force in promoting self-development and capacity building among girls aged 11–18. Her vision and commitment have transformed lives, fostering resilience, ambition, and zeal within her community.

Through our programs and workshops, we create a safe and supportive space for our girls to connect, develop a strong sense of self-awareness, and build lasting, meaningful relationships with their peers.

MEET Founder and Executive Director of I AM Me Project Inc.:

Keisha M. Blake is a dynamic and passionate leader dedicated to empowering, educating, and inspiring young women. She has been a driving force in promoting self-development and capacity building among girls aged 11–18. Her vision and commitment have transformed lives, fostering resilience, ambition, and zeal within her community.

Through I AM Me Project Inc., Keisha has established impactful programs that meet the diverse needs of young women. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University in Human and Family Services, with a focus on Services to Children and Youth, and a Master of Science in Human Service Administration from the University of Baltimore.

Keisha is also a certified trainer in ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Interface, YMHFA (Youth Mental Health First Aid), and HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences), equipping her to effectively address trauma, support mental health, and empower both the young women she serves and the adults who serve them.

❄️🌱 It may be chilly outside, but planting season is still in full swing at the WPC Community Garden!

We were excited to get our fall crops in the ground as we prepare for another season of learning, growing, and community connection. 🌿🥕🥬

Our “Bloom & Grow” programming officially begins the first week of November and we’re looking forward to welcoming students back into the garden for hands-on learning, environmental education, and leadership development.

A special thank you to Farmer Tay for your continued support, knowledge, and commitment to helping our garden grow! 💚

✨ Terrific Tuesday ✨

Today, we’re highlighting the incredible work BUILD continues to do throughout our communities, advocating, organizing, and bringing people together around issues that impact families across Baltimore and Maryland.

Last night, The I AM Me Project was represented as we joined community leaders and partners to hear elected officials make commitments to the important work that is needed to strengthen our communities.

As an organization committed to empowering, educating, and inspiring young women to become who they were created to be, we understand that meaningful change happens through relationships, advocacy, and collaboration.

We will continue to show up, build meaningful partnerships, and connect with organizations whose work helps move our collective missions forward. When organizations come together around a shared vision for stronger communities, we create greater opportunities for the young people and families we serve.

It’s WINSDAY, and we’re celebrating another BIG WIN! 🌱💚

The I AM Me Project Inc. is excited to begin our second year of programming and partnership with Walter P. Carter Elementary/Middle School through our “Bloom & Grow Program!

Back-to-School Night was a great opportunity to reconnect with families, students, staff, and the school community as we prepare for another year of growth, learning, confidence-building, and connection.

We are grateful for the continued partnership and excited about everything this new school year will bring. Last year, we planted seeds, and this year, we’re ready to keep growing! 🌸🐝
