This life is a love letter to my younger self, she keeps me going <3

I keep a picture of young teenage Michelle, I look at it often and remember the journey and all the detours I’ve taken to get here.

When I’m all in my feels and when I feel as though I want to quit, I either look at this picture or close myself and see the younger me.

these days I’m intentional about following my flow and reminding myself that I’m a lucky girl. i am no longer questioning seasons that shifted or doors that closed.

it’s ok, and I am ok.
37 feels like gratitude and trusting in my divine guidance, more and more each day. i prayed for a gentle ease for this month & the rest of the year. i want gentle, soft and ease.

✨Almost 1 year of owning a mobile coffee cart and it’s one of the hardest things I’ve done ☕️
✨There’s not enough studies for us as women and our evolving health
✨I think we all need to touch grass
✨I’ve been trying to start a 3 day fast but I’m procrastinating but starting Tuesday

Be where my feet are, present ✨🌻

Lately I’ve been forced to be still, and prioritize my mental health. I’ve learned stillness feels a bit uncomfortable but it’s necessary and needed, right now.

& I’ve also realized it’s one thing to know something is wrong but it’s another layer to know what’s wrong.

Pouring into me, one day at a time.

Idk but I do know it’s quiet, it’s some 101 time with self and a lot of shedding of what was.

But it feels good to let go and release what truly is not for me, and embracing the newness of me.

ATL has my heart, FILA

The older I get the more I cherish time with family, roadtrips with my wifey and the little day to day things.

I’m grateful for every picture, laugh and celebration together, life is fragile and it’s something I hold + cherish gently.

Cheers to my niece for graduating high school, wifey & I having a yummy churro latte, my fam sippin balanced & brewed and more memories captured together.

& yes I put sugar on my grits! It is what it is!

This season I’m learning to;

1. Embracing the understanding that I don’t have to do things alone, tap in to the help + resources available.
2. Sometimes it just is what it is.
3. Relax, it’s not that serious.
4. Seasons change, don’t fight it, just flow with it.
5. Take it one day at a time.
6. Be quiet, it’s ok.
7. Return back to self as many times as necessary but even that takes time.

When the baddie finds her balance ✨🌱

I’ve been reflecting a lot - thinking about the old + younger MJ.

My life has changed so much, I have changed so much.

This journey has always been about discovering who I am, not the me defined by others but authentically me.

I love who I am, therapy is a luxury I’m grateful to partake in, I’m enjoying life with the LOML and I have my mobile coffee cart.
