It was an honour to be in a room full of British Muslim leaders & contributors making real impact across our respective industries and helping shape the fabric of this country.
For me the work I’m doing with @wawcreativearts
& to see that recognised by @10downingstreet means a great deal, despite what people’s opinion may be on UK’s foreign policy. Domestic recognition is a big deal.

Travelling the world has taught me a lot, but moments like this at the PM’s office reminds me why I love London and why I’m proud to be a British Muslim, able to celebrate my faith, identity, and culture so openly.

A quick note, this wasn’t a campaign event or political conference, but a celebration of Eid, a festival dear to Muslims.
Being present in these spaces on these occasions matters, because it is how our voices are included in meaningful ways.

👑 It was a pleasure to meet HRH King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla today on Brick Lane, London. We spoke about the work I am doing with @wawcreativearts and the exciting projects coming up this year.

Here is a short video clip on female reciters. I speak about what Quran recitation means to me and how I strive to help the wider community experience the same positivity and peace I have enjoyed in my 20-year journey as a female Quran reciter.

These past two weeks have been harder than I ever expected. Four trips to the hospital in such a short time, and now I’m spending my Saudi National Day in a hospital room instead of celebrating and enjoying the holiday.

I won’t lie, it’s been exhausting, emotional, and at times, really scary. But more than anything, this experience has made me realise just how much we take our health for granted. You could have everything you need or want in life - the people you love, a beautiful home, a successful career, plans, dreams, and all the things you’ve worked so hard for, but if you don’t have your health, none of it really matters.

And one of the hardest parts for me is the guilt I feel seeing my husband spend his break running around hospitals, appointments, and worrying about me. He should be resting, enjoying his holiday, and making happy memories, but instead so much of his time has been spent taking care of me. 💔

I’m just praying for one thing health, healing, and better days ahead inshallah. 🤲🏻

Sometimes it takes being in a hospital bed to realise that a normal, healthy day is actually one of life’s greatest blessings.

🛒‼️Hot take: I feel more feminine and relaxed living in #riyadh than I ever expected.
There’s something about not having to do absolutely everything yourself, having more people around to help, and being able to slow down and actually enjoy everyday life.

#london I love you but why does everything have to feel like hard work?

And while we’re at it, can we please do something about the “No £, no trolley” situation?

More staff. More jobs. Happier shoppers.

Maybe London supermarkets could learn a thing or two from this vid.

🇬🇧 London ➜ 🇸🇦 Riyadh
A new city, A new chapter.

This move happened completely unexpectedly, but it was all part of God’s plan. If you knew how it all came together, you’d be shocked, but it’s a reminder that what’s meant for you will always find you.

I’m so excited to embrace a new lifestyle, build new routines, make lifelong friendships, explore new opportunities, and make Riyadh my home.

Tbh moving into the centre of Riyadh 📍Olaya
@flow.riyadh has really made this transition seamless.

Back in London for just one week, and what a special way to begin my time here. It was an honour to attend a beautiful dinner at @ukhouseoflords @ukparliament and have the privilege of closing the evening with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an.

Seeing so many familiar faces reminded me that distance never changes genuine connections. It was so lovely to be back with everyone. @abbyghafoor @shaistagohir @farrah.azam @apsanabegummp @sarakhan_author @calligraphybyuzma @kawserquamer @ishaaqjasat @nafila_imani_khan @muslimmamas @naaema.ummeesa

A huge thank you to Baroness @manzilauddin, @rosebudssisters, @aysha.b0 and @etharrelief for such a meaningful evening, and congratulations on the incredible work you’ve done for the community over the years.

And of course, to my annoying sister @simplynadiaali thank you for chauffeuring me, keeping me well fed, Love you always. by @iamnusaiba

🇸🇦POV: You move to Riyadh and one month later you’re hosting your first Women in Business event.
Still trying to process last night.

When I moved to Saudi, I knew I wanted to create meaningful, engaging, creative spaces for people to platform their talent/work as-well as connect, collaborate, and celebrate each other. So hosting my very first Women in Business event with @flow.riyadh where I currently live, felt like the perfect way to begin.

I had the pleasure of spotlighting three incredible Saudi women who are changing the game in fashion, beauty, and tech: @fidaalkaud @aya.app_ @muzonwa
Your stories, wisdom, and ambition inspired everyone in the room.

The love in the room was unreal. Hearing everyone say they loved my style of hosting & moderating made my heart so full. 🥹

A little Nusaiba flair has officially landed in Saudi and trust me, we’re only getting started. ✨

This is just Chapter 1, in shaa Allah.

Tag a woman, Saudi or Global, who inspires you below. Let’s celebrate each other louder. 👇🏽
