Discernment- the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure.

If you allow the appearance of someone’s lifestyle to qualify them to be a trusted voice or a go to person on your timeline, I caution you to asses your qualifiers.

We often confuse tangible success with a persons private life or whole self.

One can have millions and be abusive to their spouse. Successful consulting and business and very dishonest ways about themselves.

A thriving community and be internally suffering from depression and not willing to give it to Jesus, yet they don’t pursue health they chase the money at the expense of their soul.

You never truly know what well you draw from, so be wise, be discerning and know if what they say lines up Biblical Truth then their life in private they have to account for but you have to account for where you choose to listen and who you choose to speak into you.

Be sober. Be wise and stay in your Bible so that you can discern well.

That is this, Intangible assets determine the type of tangible success. Your definition of success must be greater than you and beyond material things. What problem are you solving? your podcast and why should I listen? What will I have now that I didn’t have before I pressed play?

Being men often results in getting consumed by our natural needs, like when we neeed it 🥵our wives hear it. But we overlook what’s our spirit and soul needs. So how do we avoid waiting for crises before we address our spiritual dehydration or malnutrition?

Men of God and all men need devotion, to build discipline, dominate your appetites and not be a slave to your body.

Make the decision now while you have options…
Don’t wait until it’s your only option.

Crises will come, it’s not if, but when - but will your spirit be ready? Or will your flesh and humanity respond for you?

Don’t let Familiarity rob you of the future relationships that you hold today. Allow your life to reintroduce who you are becoming. Day ones mean well and your family really mean well but they may not be able to speak into where you are going, IF they are too familiar with the old you.

Don’t allow the familiar to hold you to an old version because you feel the tension of growing pains.

Keep growing and the relationships in your mission field will present themselves, you just have to recognize WHO you are, not who you used to be.

In my conversation with @gregorypkr a brilliant Tech Cyber Defense Exec & Ai Advisor and thought leader, he stresses the important of Rest in your walk with God.

The issue with our generation is we hear someone tell us to rest and we also hear, be unproductivec, wait for something to happen. effort doesn’t matter.

Not quite, rest is an act of humility.

It reminds God that you are not trying to do his job it reminds Yourself, that there’s nothing that you can do to control OUTCOMES.

what you think you are after, it’s the goal. It’s who you are BECOMING in the process.

The results that you think you should have come from your consistency and persistence does not ENTITLE you to an outcome. If you think it does, it will confuse you when you lack the outcomes that only GOD can produce. THAT is the blessing. You don’t want what you THINK you want, you Want Gods Plan.
