I had a great Lockerroom Talk with the Coppin State University Men's Basketball team yesterday and a great conversation with some freshmen Coppin State students, today. In our Lockerroom Talk, we had an honest discussion about the emotional demands of college athletics, inclusive of stress, isolation, family responsibilities, anxiety about the future, and the pressure to appear strong. I asked them to have at least one genuine check-in with a teammate and ask him how he is doing beyond basketball. In today's conversation with some freshmen students in their economics class, we talked about community impact. They have an assignment due to identify companies that have a focus on community impact. I emphasized that when they identify companies that have a corporate social responsibility, they will find organizations that are focused on impacting the community and not just on their bottom line. #CHASINGGREATNESS #IAMUNDERDOG #THEUNDERDOGADVANTAGE #GOEAGLES by @iamunderdoginc

Why do we Pour It Forward? 🧡💙

Because investing in the next generation is bigger than one night.

Our CEO, Tony Covington breaks down what Pour It Forward really means — and why showing up for our students and student-athletes matters.

It’s about mentorship.
It’s about access.
It’s about opportunity.
It’s about community.
And it’s about making sure the next generation has people willing to pour into them today.

And now, we’re LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY from bringing that mission to life at Pour It Forward: The Underdog Fall Affair — Baltimore Edition. 🔥
