Restaurant marketing has gone stale. Here’s what we’d do as a production studio to shake up in industry here in Arizona

✍️ Build a scripted social series around five girlfriends meeting for happy hour in Scottsdale. Bad dates. Career drama. A server who knows too much. Think Sex and the City meets Friends.

Here’s the thinking: recurring characters give people someone to care about. Unfinished stories give them a reason to return. And every episode makes the restaurant more familiar.

The ambition is to make someone think, “That needs to be our spot.”

@cava has already explored this territory with its own dating show. Same with @chipotle !

Other brands are producing sitcoms and scripted social series. We see an opportunity to bring that approach to Arizona’s independent restaurants. We’d also hire local creatives and talent to help us bring this to life!

The food gets people through the door. The experience gives them stories to tell. We’d build the show around both.

Arizona locals: which restaurant do you think would be perfect for this? by @ian.simon55

I’ve taken a very unconventional route to starting a studio with my closest collaborators.

But I think that’s what’s cool about being a creative right now. There are so many pathways to achieve your goals. You just have to fully commit and think outside the box.

The structures that were, are being destroyed right now. I can honestly say relationships are more important than anything right now.

Get yourself into these spaces, make things without waiting for someone to choose you. Surround yourself with hungry, focused and easy to work with collaborators.

Put yourself in other people’s projects, productions, skits, it doesn’t matter!

That’s just my path and testimony, hope this advice helps! by @ian.simon55

I’ve found that some of my best ideas come to me when I’m exercising.

But I’ve also found that capturing those ideas without interrupting my workout can be a challenge.

I’m curious about something.

To my fellow creatives: When an idea hits you in the middle of a workout, how do you capture it without breaking your flow?

Do you stop and write it down, record a voice memo, or just hope you remember it later?

I’d love to hear how you approach this. by @ian.simon55

Either you see it or you don’t. Instagrams long form feature is going to make this platform the best distribution channel on the planet.

YouTubers can even agree, this is pretty dope for them now because they can just most their long form content over here.

But really think about it for a second, EVERYONE IS HERE! It’s never been easier now to share your vision, your pilot, your show, film whatever the hell it is.

If you use @claudeai I’d start understanding how you can position yourself now with some of your creative work. Reach out to brands, share your ideas, creative partnerships will be at a premium now, mark words.

Once @instagram goes all in on producing and financing @creators shows, then it’ll have it all figured out.

As a former pro athlete, gym owner and strength coach, @the_gymclass is legit out here in Chandler, AZ

I’ve been attending classes with my wife @brittanysimon___ for a few weeks now and I can say that I’m very impressed with how they train their community.

I’ve been asked by a couple of guys, “is it easy though?” To which I respond, “if you want it to be.”

I think there’s a common misconception about group training classes.

First, that you’re “around a bunch of women,” which I don’t understand why that’s a negative if you’re a single man lol.

And second, that “they don’t train heavy enough.”

Yeah, that’s simply not true.

As someone who’s spent years training athletes and coaching strength, here’s something I’ve learned: You don’t always need a harder workout. Sometimes you need to learn how to make the workout harder for YOU.

Adjust the weights, manipulate your tempo, go max effort, eat well, drink water, get good sleep, reduce your stress the best you can, and keep at it. That’s it.

That’s how you train hard in a group fitness class. You take ownership of your effort.

But here’s the other part of this experience that matters to me.

I didn’t start going to these classes because I needed another gym. I started because I wanted to spend more time with my wife.

Between running businesses, raising our daughter, and everything else life throws at us, having something we can do together has become really meaningful.

We get to challenge ourselves, encourage each other, laugh, compete a little, and be part of a community.

And I think that’s something more husbands should consider.

You don’t have to sacrifice your training goals to participate in something your wife enjoys.

You might actually discover something you both love doing together.

We’re getting stronger individually, but we’re also building something together.

And to me, that’s worth showing up for. by @ian.simon55

I’m forever thankful that I married a partner who’s an active participant in all things I do. Not one that says “I’ll see you later”

The goal is to be mentally, spiritually, and physically fit together.
The goal is to remain unstoppable
The goal is to continue to grow together
The goal is to continue to push beyond our limits
The goal is to continue to fall in love with the process, even when it’s hard
The goal is to remain united and strong.

If you see us out in these streets (running 🤪) give us a little beep beep and wave LOL
