Trying to knit a swatch virtually turns out to be more work than just doing it in real life! 😅 Now I need to figure out how to model more than just stockinette stitch procedurally... 🧶✨️🤣

I'm getting back into @touchdesigner to see what's possible! The sound was made on the @gastonsounds Particle Simulator synth. 🔥✨️🌌😃

Episode 7 of Colour Archetypes: Conversations in Sound & Colour

In this episode, I sat down with composer and sound engineer @icelocus to talk about his result from the quiz (Supertonic) and what it revealed about him. We covered planetarium films, Japanese bamboo flutes, alien-sounding beluga whales and metal 3D printing, so it's fair to say there was a lot to take in.

Rewatching it, I counted just how many times I said "amazing." In my defence, it was all amazing. 🙈

The full conversation is live on YouTube now. Link in bio.

Trying out POPs in TouchDesigner for the first time. My beluga recordings came in handy for this bizarre alienesque creature that I 3D sculpted. 🤓🪼🌌🎶

My fulldome short film "Breath of the Loci" is now out on my YouTube channel as a 360° video so you can look around like you're in a planetarium! 🎉🎉🎉 Make sure you turn up your YouTube resolution for a clearer image. Also the soundtrack for the film can be enjoyed on my Bandcamp page.

See the links in my bio!

Once again, a massive thanks to @synthtodd for playing the pillars and outro sections of the soundtrack on the shakuhachi bamboo flute.

Thanks for watching and listening and I hope you enjoy it! 🙏🎶🌌✨️

Coming to a YouTube near you!!! 🤓🌌🎶 Save the date: on Wednesday September 30th I'll be releasing our fulldome short film "Breath of the Loci" to YouTube as a 360° video so you can look around like in the planetarium. You'll be swept away by the shakuhachi playing of @synthtodd and myself as you take a trip through the Eta Carinae Nebula. This footage was from the @fulldome_festival in July. Stay tuned!!!

I'm upgrading my art making setup and I found some awesome inspiration by @adamr4242 from a couple years ago! There's a plot twist at the end of the story. 🦕🦖🐈😎

Another noisy exploration as I navigate the @gastonsounds Particle Simulator with a summertime breeze on the table outside. 🍃 There was a bit of random modulation from the @empress_effects ZOIA Euroburo on the "window" knob. I was basically just hanging on and riding the wave!!! 🙏😊⚡️
