In 2021, still during the pandemic, ÍCON Design brought its experience in Automotive Design into a new territory.

In collaboration with the Nissan Brazil Design Studio, we developed a special interpretation of our NANO Coffee Table for São Paulo Design Week, exploring a new application for a material originally developed for the automotive industry.

The NANO tabletop was finished with high-tech automotive fabrics, transforming a material conceived for vehicle interiors into a new surface for furniture.

More than just a piece, the project was born as an exploration of materials, processes, and possibilities — questioning how technologies and solutions developed for one industry can take on new meaning when introduced into another context.

During Design Week, we presented the NANO and our conceptual collection, sharing the creative process and ideas behind the project.

A collaboration that brought together two worlds that are part of our DNA: Automotive Design and Furniture Design.

A special moment alongside the designers who contributed to the Quorum Home Design 2027 collection.

It is a pleasure for ÍCON Design to be part of another Quorum collection, bringing our perspective on design and the experience we have built throughout our journey.

Projects like this are the result of different perspectives, experiences, and creative languages coming together around a shared purpose: creating products with identity, quality, and meaning.

Our special thanks to the Freiberger family for their trust in our studio and for the opportunity to be part, once again, of Quorum’s journey.

Here’s to the next chapters.

Sled is born from the combination of a minimalist, timeless language and ÍCON Design’s experience in Automotive and Product Design.

Part of the @quorumhomedesign 2027, its design explores precise forms and proportions, with a light and contemporary aesthetic, while the classic Brazilian cane applied to the arms brings texture, character, and a traditional element of Brazilian furniture design. The result is a balance between contemporary references and materials that carry our culture and heritage.

Designed to adapt to different environments and needs, Sled offers a variety of modular configurations and can be complemented by an integrated wooden side console. The console features three compartments, one of which includes power outlets and a wireless phone charger, discreetly incorporating technology and functionality into the design.

A piece that combines simplicity, character, and versatility, created to remain timeless.

We are deeply honored by the invitation from our friends @adonisalcici and @defantinato to collaborate on this incredible project. Our "Nano" coffee table was designed exclusively for @tempobyporsche, applying the full expertise and standards of automotive design to create a piece with an elegant, sophisticated aesthetic. Every surface was modeled and evaluated using Alias software to ensure a high-quality finish, brought to life by the hands of our artisans at our studio in São Paulo, Brazil. The finishing touch came from Adonis, who selected Porsche’s iconic "Speed Yellow" color, giving the piece a stunning look.#luxurydesign #luxuryfurniture #porsche #tempobyporsche #homedecor
