🌊 ORCAS at Granite Falls! ✨ The ultimate Vancouver magic moment: spotting killer whales right in front of the falls! 
If you’re ever boating and see orcas in Vancouver, BC: ✅ Stay at least 400 meters away from killer whales (Boating BC).
✅ If a whale comes to you, turn your engines off and let them pass. ✅ Slow down to under 7 knots within 1 kilometer of any whales (Fisheries and Oceans Canada). ✅ Never approach, not head-on or from behind. ✅ Turn off echo sounders and fish finders when not needed. ✅ Report sightings to the BC Cetacean Sightings Network (WhaleReport app). ✅ Know the laws: they’re updated regularly to keep whales safe (MERS).

Happy 2025!
A year ago I was living in Toronto and was not expecting what was going to happen in one year!
2024 was an awesome year full of adventure. There have been some lows but way more highs, worth the good times. I found the island being very healing for my mind.
