🌊 ORCAS at Granite Falls! ✨ The ultimate Vancouver magic moment: spotting killer whales right in front of the falls!

If you’re ever boating and see orcas in Vancouver, BC:
✅ Stay at least 400 meters away from killer whales (Boating BC).
✅ If a whale comes to you, turn your engines off and let them pass.
✅ Slow down to under 7 knots within 1 kilometer of any whales (Fisheries and Oceans Canada).
✅ Never approach, not head-on or from behind.
✅ Turn off echo sounders and fish finders when not needed.
✅ Report sightings to the BC Cetacean Sightings Network (WhaleReport app).
✅ Know the laws: they’re updated regularly to keep whales safe (MERS).

Let’s keep our waters safe for these incredible giants! 💙 #Orcas #GraniteFalls #VancouverWhales #WhaleWise

Celebrated graduation in style at the Fam Jam once again! Can’t say enough good things about all the good people who run this jam every Tuesday. Loved catching up with old friends, making new friends and playing some good music! The Big Fam Jam is my new happy place!
