Why do you think the water bottle gets squeezed, but the potato doesn’t? 🤔

Because the water bottle contains air, while the potato is mostly solid.

As we descend, the surrounding water pressure increases. The air inside the bottle is compressible, so its volume decreases and the bottle gets squeezed.

The potato, however, is made mostly of water and solid tissue, which are essentially incompressible at recreational diving depths. So it keeps its shape.

Comecei a treinar com o incentivo da minha mãe, mas ter conhecido a Fernanda e admirado o voleibol dela me fez querer estar lá todo dia.

Ella foi minha primeira ídola na escola. Eu imitava a passada de ataque, a roupa que ela usava, a letra no caderno, o jeito de jogar handball… minha primeira dupla de vôlei de praia, meu primeiro título, meu primeiro acidente de carro, minha primeira paixonite não correspondida ela aturou me ouvindo kkkkk, meu primeiro porre foi com ela também.

Tudo que era com a Fernanda minha mãe deixava, até hoje ela tem esta cara de santa 😂 enganou minha família toda e me proporcionou a melhor pré adolescência que eu poderia sonhar. Mãe, posso dormir na casa da Fernanda ? Pode. Não existia roupa só minha ou só dela. Tudo misturado. Até hoje tenho blusa dela que ficou pra mim, e até hoje eu uso. Ela estica o suficiente 😂.

Ela brigava comigo pra dar importância ao estudo, que eu tinha que me formar independente do vôlei, que eu tinha que ter plano A, B e C. Ela falava que eu tinha que viajar o mundo. Dentro desta mulher desbravadora, liberta, sempre teve uma nerd absurdamente inteligente onde tudo que toca vira resultado.

Ela foi comigo na minha primeira peneira. E ela tá comigo sonhando até hoje.

Esta semana tive o privilégio de receber ela e seu amor Alemão aqui. Sim. Porque ela mora numa ilha pequena em Honduras e comanda o mergulho por lá. Vive exatamente como sonhou. Chefe da porra toda.

Eu amo demais e morro de orgulho. Ainda me incentiva, ainda me dá esporro e ainda é minha ídola ♥️ @idcwithfernanda @peterkockisch by @idcwithfernanda

Here is a third short video of our Tec Dives during Roatan Divers TEC WEEK 2026.

We had really awesome dives exploring Roatan´s deepest secrets, walls, wrecks, and watching that continental shelf drop into the abyss !!

Thanks to all divers who joined either as students for @paditv TEC REC courses, as refreshers, and as TEC Divers. Thanks, as always, to RD´s crew, including captains, staff, and TEC Instructors, who made it all possible.
