A decade of dresses. Forty years of bridal expertise. And now, a website that finally feels like Cyndi. ✨

We’re so excited to celebrate the launch of the brand new Bridals by Cyndi website!

Cyndi has spent her whole career in the bridal world. She built other people’s shops and trained their teams before she opened her own boutique ten years ago. She runs it with humor, heart, and high standards, and her brides don’t just recommend her. They remember her.

We started with a Brand Communication Strategy so we could understand who Cyndi’s brides really are, what makes them nervous, and why they keep sending their friends her way. That strategy became the foundation for a warm, modern website that reflects the beauty of what happens inside her newly renovated boutique.

Real women. Every body, every story, every season of life. Honest guidance, zero pressure, and that “girlfriend, we’ve got you” vibe that makes you feel at home the minute you walk in.

The result is a site that feels as welcoming as the boutique itself, and a place where every bride can picture herself saying, “This is my dress.” 🤍

Cyndi, it’s been a joy bringing your next chapter to life.

Here’s to the brides you haven’t met yet! 💍

Sales is about helping people solve a problem, and nobody wants the solution until they understand the problem. Couples don’t know what they don’t know, so the pricing, the package details, and the push to book all land too early. Even when they never ask for it, teaching them what’s at stake is the job, and the vendor who does it well is usually the one they book.

So before your next inquiry reply, it’s worth asking whether you’re helping or just selling. by @ideactionconsulting

Your Moment. Our Italy. Now online in a whole new way.

We’re so happy to share the new website for Roberta Cavaliere!

For over 13 years, Roberta and her team have planned weddings, elopements and milestone celebrations across Piedmont and Liguria, Lake Como, Portofino and beyond, for those who cross an ocean to celebrate.

We started with a brand strategy built around what sets her apart: Italian hospitality without the complexity. That became the copy and design for a site that feels like her events. It’s warm, elegant and unhurried, and her team takes care of the details so you can enjoy every moment.

Take a look at how she works, the celebrations she’s planned, and the first conversation that starts every one of them.

Roberta, we loved working with you and helping share your Italy with the world. We can’t wait to see what you plan next. 🥂

Everybody needs a coach, and the value goes well beyond growing your business or charging more. A good coach saves you time and stress by handing you a shortcut, because they’ve already been down the path and can steer you around the dead ends before you ever hit them.

The catch is that one session only gets you so far. If you wander the wilderness on your own for too long afterward, it’s easy to get lost, which is why we’ve had so many clients find great success after a call with Sam and then reach back out nine months later wondering what went wrong. That’s no knock on them. Every business runs into problems, and once you solve one, the world hands you a new one that needs a new solution, for as long as you own the company.

That’s why Sam built the Board of Directors Coaching Retainer: a full year with a guide who gets to know your business inside and out. You start with a 90-minute kickoff and leave with a plan, then meet quarterly to course correct, with email access, sales call audits, and a pricing review in between.

It’s $395 a month, and the details are at the link in our profile. by @ideactionconsulting

You’ve got about 10 to 20 seconds. That’s how long a visitor takes to decide whether to stay on your website or leave.

Your hero canvas carries a lot of weight, so we pulled three opening screen formats from Showit designers that you can borrow today.

1. The Book Cover
Give them enough information without giving everything away. A peek at your portfolio, a line about who you are, and a clear CTA. In seconds, visitors can tell whether they love your work and whether they could actually work with you. (@sister.trees.studio)

2. Canvas Blending
Remove the border between your first two canvases so they read as one. One scroll turns into two, and by then they’re invested enough to get down to business. (@kami__lalonde, @ideactionconsulting)

3. Gallery Storytelling
This format works well for smaller businesses. An animated gallery shows your product and the vibe of your space at the same time, so your brand does the talking. (@thestudygarretson)

Your hero canvas doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs clarity, mood, and direction.

Save this for your next refresh, and comment SITE if you want us to send you everything you need to start building yours on Showit! by @ideactionconsulting

October asks us to be all execution, all the time, and that’s exactly when strategy slips off the calendar. The tricky part is that couples planning 2027 weddings are booking right now, while most of us are too buried to notice. An hour or two a week, protected like a client meeting, is how we take care of this weekend’s couples and next year’s calendar at the same time.

That’s what “CEO Time with Sam” is for. It’s a free co-working hour every Monday at 11 a.m. Eastern, where we turn off the noise and put an hour into the business itself. If something’s been sitting on your “after the season” list, bring it, and we’ll work on it together. The link to join is in our profile. by @ideactionconsulting

When a couple ghosts or books someone else, price is the easiest thing to blame, and it’s usually the wrong thing.

Couples will pay more when they’re the right fit, they can see the value, they feel a real connection with you, they know what makes you different, and they trust you’ll take care of them. When those pieces are in place, price stops being the deal-breaker it feels like right now.

If you’re not sure which one is costing you the most, send us a DM, and we’ll help you find it. by @ideactionconsulting

We hear the same thing everybody else is saying: it’s the market, it’s Gen Z, it’s oversaturated. But guess what? Not everybody’s having an off year, and the people with full calendars are dealing with the same market, the same couples, and the same competition.

So what’s the real difference for the pros booking clients they love at the prices they deserve? A whole bunch of things, but it starts with not blaming something they can’t fix. Instead, they’re doing the hard work of admitting something inside their marketing and sales might not be right, and that different results take doing something different.

Which means the thing standing between you and a fuller calendar is something you can start fixing this week. by @ideactionconsulting

What if one trait could save you seven years of trial and error?

On the podcast, Josh Spiegel, founder and CCO of Birch Events, says the biggest difference comes down to grit: the passion to go the distance and the perseverance to push through the turbulence. His advice is to find a co-pilot who shares that grit and build together, and he figures doing that sooner would have saved him at least seven years.

Still, he wouldn’t change a thing. That rough stretch is what made him who he is today, and it gave him something real to offer the people around him. His lesson for the rest of us: show up in the right spaces, bring the grit, surround yourself with the right people, and you’ll get there too.

If October has you running on fumes, this one’s worth a listen. The full conversation is at the link in our bio. by @ideactionconsulting

“Your routine is your job.”

When everything feels important, it’s easy to overfill your schedule and burn out. Choose the few habits that move your work—and your well-being—forward, then make them part of your routine.

You don’t have to do it all. You need a structure you can stick to.

The party’s happening either way… and now her website finally matches the energy. 🎉

We’re so excited to reveal the new branding, copy, and website design for @kami__lalonde Pacific Northwest wedding photographer and the kind of person who’s there for every laugh, happy tear and full-send dance floor moment. (500+ weddings in, she’s seen them all.)

Kami’s photos (and personality) are full of life, and the new site had to be too: bold, warm, personal and made for couples who’d rather be present than posed.

Kami, it’s been a joy building this with you. Congratulations!

Go visit kamilalonde.com and cheers to your next chapter🍸✨ by @ideactionconsulting

I set a trap for an AI chatbot. I asked Claude the same questions your couples are asking before they ever reach out to you: How much does a wedding cost? Do we need a planner? What should we spend on a photographer? Do we even need invitations?

The answers came back confident. And wrong. (Some of them VERY wrong.)

This is what couples bring to your inbox now. They skip the ten links and take the one answer, and that answer never asked about their region, their guest count, or what matters most to them. So when the budget on your discovery call makes no sense, this is often where it started.

Try it yourself this week. Ask a chatbot the questions a couple would ask about your service. Ask whether couples even need what you offer, and what they should ask when hiring someone like you. Screenshot what comes back, because that’s what your next couple believes before they ever talk to you. After the warm up on your next discovery call start with this question. “What have you learned about [your vendor category] so far?” by @ideactionconsulting
