Another addition moving along in South Orange. The existing deck and bump out was very poorly built and was not functional for this family. Keep an eye out for updates as we bring to life an incredible new kitchen, mudroom and powder room that will have some really special details.

We just wrapped up this full-scale basement and first-floor renovation. Building from the ground up meant tackling the heavy lifting first…adding a structural beam, new windows, and new plumbing before bringing the design vision to life.

Here is a look inside:

🎨 Vibrant Bathroom: Featuring a terracotta vanity paired with modern blue accents.

🎲 Family-Centric Storage: Integrated game night cabinets and a full walk-in pantry. Even a circular cutout to hideaway the litter bin. 🐈

🌳 Custom Millwork: A white oak vestibule framed by a barrel vault ceiling.

🍸 Dining & Serving: Built-in cabinetry topped with a sleek stone surface for seamless hosting.

Every detail balances everyday practical living with memorable aesthetic moments.

A roundup of some of our favorite powder rooms, each one a reminder that even the smallest spaces can make a lasting impression.

Powder rooms are the perfect opportunity to embrace a little more drama: a rich, saturated hue, an unexpected pattern, or a wallpaper that demands attention. These are the spaces where you can really create that jewel-box moment.

From dark and moody to light and luminous, which direction speaks to you?

Scenes from six different projects in the works. From design development, construction and finishing touches we’re with you. Transformations take skill, talent, time and patience and the investment is 💯 worth it when experiencing the end result. We’re loving how these projects are coming together. by @ideaspacead

Back to school and fall sports are in full swing, and there’s nothing like an organized mudroom to help keep it all together. 🍂

Because it’s the first space we see when we walk through the door, we’re all about making a mudroom beautiful, highly functional, and durable enough for everyday life.

Here, the tall cabinets provide plenty of hidden storage for sports gear, backpacks, and all the extras that come with busy days. Beneath the bench, a low-maintenance storage solution keeps shoes and even muddy rain boots neatly tucked away and ready for the next adventure.

A hardworking space doesn’t have to sacrifice style. 🤎

Buttoning up the upholstery and soft goods selections on a project that’s under construction. When a job is in a raw state it always helps to see the finishing touches.
We are really looking forward to seeing this all come together for our client in the coming months!

In the midst of all the chaos that comes with running a business and managing projects there are snippets of creativity and exploration. Walking around and seeing, taking in color, texture and composition is inspiring and fuels something in us. Loving all of these beautiful finds from the past few weeks. by @ideaspacead

What began as a bedroom filled with storage, shoes, and visual clutter became a serene, light-filled retreat.

The goal wasn’t simply to “decorate” the room. It was to rethink the space from the ground up, creating better function, a sense of calm, and a design that feels timeless.

This is what thoughtful architecture + interior design can do.

This sweet powder room has our hearts. 🤍

Tucked just off the family’s kitchen, this space was completely built from scratch as a new addition to the home. At the center is a custom white oak washstand, crafted as a modern interpretation of the simple sinks you might find in the French countryside.

From the romantic floral wallpaper and antique mirror to the classic wainscoting, every detail was thoughtfully layered to create a space that feels timeless, collected, and a little bit whimsical.

Swipe to see the design drawing and how we brought the vision from paper to real life.

Summer vibes in this compact NYC bathroom where simple whites create a serene backdrop for the vibrant blue concrete tiles reminiscent of the Mediterranean coast.

Happy Sunday! A modern mudroom designed for all the coats and gear a family could dream of while being roomy enough for the dog crate. The oversized windows and generous ceiling height make this a pleasant everyday entry experience.
