KING OF TOKYO: GODZILLA 🐲⛩️
¡Gran juego!

KING OF TOKYO: GODZILLA 🐲⛩️
New version of the classic monster-fighting game by R. Garfield, now with kaijus. Each turn, you’ll roll 5 dice, with up to two re-rolls, and resolve them: heal (if not in Tokyo), gain points or energy, get upgrades with evolution cards, or attack. In Tokyo, attack all kaijus outside Tokyo. From the outside, attack the one in Tokyo, who can decide to come out, and you’d then enter. Entering and starting a turn in Tokyo awards points. With energy, buy upgrades from the market, where there can also be events that put some restriction to all players until someone resolves them and gains their reward. To win, reach 20 points or defeat everyone.
👥2-6⏳30m🎂8+
KoT is awesome, accessible, dynamic, with constant interaction, and highly replayable due to its 2 ways to victory and the upgrades (both in the market and in evolutions). As a novelty, this edition adds events, a new and interesting interaction point. I’m neutral on Godzilla, but I find this edition gorgeous, probably the best stand-alone box.
Great game!

⚔️ It all started with one Unmatched game ⚔️

I teamed up with @iellogames for my first Birthday Reveal series and they sent me my very first Unmatched game. And thanks to @saggyhead.boardgame.reviews who taught me how to play during season 1 of Teaching Levii.

Fast forward to now and I’ve been lucky enough to continue working with them, and team up with @coiledspringgames to bring even more Unmatched to my wonderful Instagram followers!

However, I was not prepared for 8 Unmatched games in one delivery. So now I need the Unmatched experts to help me out.

What’s your favourite Unmatched set? And which one is my collection desperately missing?

Let’s play Fragments from @coiledspringgames @iellogames

Fragments is a narrative puzzle game that uses jigsaws to create the world you are exploring.

This mini adventure is a free promo I picked up @ukgamesexpo because I loved the sound of the game. It was not a review or gifted copy and I made this video because I love the idea of the game. 🥰 by @iellogames

🦖 King of Tokyo just got a serious Godzilla upgrade! 🔥 @blueorangegames @iellogames

This version doesn’t just bring the iconic kaiju to the table it looks incredible while doing it. From the retro Showa-era artwork to the detailed monster standees, wooden dice, energy cubes, and gorgeous cards, the whole production feels like a classic Godzilla movie brought to life.

And there’s more than just a new coat of paint. Event Cards shake things up for everyone, while Evolution Cards give each monster its own unique abilities and upgrades.

Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, Rodan, Hedorah, or Mechagodzilla… which kaiju are you picking?
