As a colorist, you have the privilege not only of shaping images, but of bringing emotions, stories, and dreams to life through color.
The surf documentary Against Gravity shows how Leon Glatzer grows from a kid in Pavones into Germany’s first Olympic surfer, his highs, his lows, and the deep connection between human and ocean that goes far beyond performance. It’s a story about passion, perseverance, and what truly drives us. Exactly the nuances we have the honor of highlighting through our color grading.
Every wave, every light, every decision in color grading is, to me, a tribute to this raw and living force of life and to everyone who has the courage to push their own limits. Grateful for all the creative minds and athletes who share these stories with us and inspire us to keep exploring new paths in visual storytelling.

Proud to have been part of yet another milestone in the history of the legendary @hahnenkammrennen, working alongside the amazing team at @thelegsofsteel under the creative vision of director @christophthoresen. This year, Red Bull Athlete @costadario took things to a whole new level, giving us a breathtaking Race-Track Preview from an entirely different perspective—his race plane!

As a colorist, it’s an absolute privilege to bring this one-of-a-kind experience to life, refining every frame to match the intensity and thrill of the event. We’re back for round two! Thrilled to share that I‘ve once again had the incredible opportunity to dive into the world of Schnitzeltime! This year, we explored fresh landscapes and added a mix of styles to enhance the story even more. Working alongside the super-talented @clemensmillauer and his team was a creative dream come true – together, we crafted some unique looks that brought an extra level of beauty to this already stunning project.

Another world’s first! I’m beyond proud to share one of our latest films starring @davidgodziek, proving that anything is possible on a train ride. Building a bike parcour on a train has its own challenges, but watching David push the limits while riding through the beautiful landscape of Upper Silesia in Poland is mind-blowing.
Together with @prada Linea Rossa, we created this bike express with 8 jumps, a roller, and a stair drop, resulting in the world’s first flat drop backflip to flat landing from stairs. Color grading this historic milestone in mountain biking will stay in my mind for decades. Once again, thank you for bringing me on board to Bike Express. As a colorist, I couldn’t be prouder to have collaborated on the latest project for @bipa Valentine’s Day commercial. With a simple setup that beautifully intertwines the questions of love and beauty, this advert is truly a work of art. Tinted in a vintage pink hue, every frame exudes warmth and romance, making it an absolute blast to work on.

From enhancing the colors to perfecting every detail, it’s been a joy to bring this vision to life. But beyond the technical aspects, what truly resonates is the message it conveys. Love is not confined to a single day; it’s a timeless journey that unfolds throughout life.

Thrilled to share the journey of pushing freeride mountain biking to new heights with the extraordinary team at @thelegsofsteel and the legendary @wibmerfabio! Conquering the gnarly downhill ski slope, the Streif, we witnessed the limits shattered. Inspired by Bruce Lee’s iconic yellow tracksuit from „Enter the Dragon,“ we crafted a visual language that left us in awe. Grateful for this epic collaboration that took us to @hahnenkammrennen and beyond! Once again, thank you to @tobireindl +team and @wibmerfabio for bringing me on board to a squad of creatives that share such a high level of passion for the sport and filmmaking. Another unforgettable project will find its way to the big screen tonight at the @mendifilm festival. ‘Ice Waterfalls’ takes us from the remote landscapes of Svalbard to the majestic Bråsvellbreen. A 36-hour journey, a courageous 11 km trek across the ice, and finally, an epic kayak descent from the largest glacier waterfall of all time.
Follow @aniolserrasolses, @davidvorysodomka, @aleixsalvat and @mikel.sarasola marking a turning point in kayak history. Amplified by the amazing people at @Prada Linea Rossa and their top-notch equipment, the athletes faced the challenges of the Arctic wilderness. I’m beyond proud to support @david__arnaud ‘s vision of an otherworldly project with my color grading expertise and I can’t wait to see this masterpiece on the big screen myself.

Diving into the delightful world of ‚Schnitzeltime‘ was a rollercoaster of pure joy and teamwork. The ensemble’s infectious energy and passion for the sport created a masterpiece that resonates in every frame. Grading locations, nostalgic from my early snowboarding days, was a journey down memory lane. Kudos to @clemensmillauer for curating the crème de la crème of todays snowboarding professionals and delivering one of the gnarliest action sports documentaries of the year. Proud to be part of this exceptional team; can’t wait for ‚Schnitzeltime‘ to light up the big screen!
