A familiar face at #EADV2026! 🌍

Our Programmes and Grants Lead, Jianing Li, caught up with Prof Daudi Mavura, Principal of the Regional Dermatology Training Centre (RDTC) in Moshi, Tanzania, at the ILDS booth - and of course we had to get a photo in front of our global member map!

The RDTC has a long-standing relationship with the ILDS and its Foundation @ifderm, helping to strengthen dermatology capacity through training and care in Tanzania and across the region.

It’s always good to have the opportunity to connect in person with the people and partners behind our work around the world.

Could your project, supported through DermLink be next?

In 2025, DermLink supported a project in Brazil that delivered dermatology training across five major cities in Rio de Janeiro, extending its reach to surrounding communities and strengthening local capacity to diagnose and manage skin disease.

The project achieved significant impact:

✨ 733 healthcare professionals trained to strengthen dermatological knowledge and capacity
✨ 872 patients received care for a range of dermatological conditions
✨ Seven cases of leprosy identified, enabling timely diagnosis and access to treatment

This shows what projects supported through DermLink can help achieve: building local expertise, improving access to care and strengthening dermatology services where they are needed most.

Could your project help improve skin health in your community?
