WHY DOES YOUR MONEY FEEL LIKE IT DISAPPEARS?

You received your salary.
You paid rent.
Bought food.
Paid transport.
Settled a few bills.
And somehow...
“Wait, where did all the money go?” 😭
The problem isn't always that you don't earn enough.
Sometimes, it's that every naira already has a destination.
Your income is limited, but your wants are almost endless.
You want good food.
You want new clothes.
You want data.
You want to travel.
You want to enjoy yourself.
You want to save.
You want to invest.
But you can't do everything at once.
So you have to make choices.
And every time you choose where your money goes, you're deciding what you're willing to give up.
That ₦20,000 you spent today could have been:
₦20,000 saved.
₦20,000 invested.
₦20,000 used to learn something.
Or simply ₦20,000 spent on something you wanted.
None of these choices is automatically wrong.
The important question is:
“Was this money spent according to what actually matters to me?”
Because financial discipline isn't necessarily about refusing to enjoy your money.
It's about being intentional with it.
If you don't decide where your money should go, your wants will decide for you.
And that's how money can disappear without you even realizing it.
Your money is a resource.
Treat it like one.

Sometimes the issue isn't just how much you earn.
It's how intentionally you use what you earn.
If you suddenly received ₦100,000 today, what would be the FIRST thing you'd do with it? 👇🏽
