A packed final day of panels, festival meet-ups, speed meetings and quickfire presentations from some of Asia's leading festivals – with plenty of drinks and conversation to round things off. A fitting end to what's been an incredible few days.

Consolidation in the festival sector has “changed the balance of power” in the industry, according to leading agents and festivals speaking at @iff.rocks in London this week.

Speaking on a panel titled ‘Beyond Consolidation: How Festivals, Artists and Independent Agencies Can Thrive Together’, hosted by Roam Artist’s Jess Kinn, Solo agent Charly Beedell-Tuck, Hellfest’s Kem Lalot, and Ejekt Festival’s Giannis Paltoglou told industry figures that the question of whether festivals can grow and preserve their independence comes down to their choice of partners at a time when consolidation is squeezing the level of choice available for acts and agents.

A massive thank you to the @outernetlondon @outernetglobal team for welcoming IFF to their incredible home for the very first time. We're thrilled to be here in the heart of Soho and on the doorstep of Denmark Street, an area steeped in musical history, in one of the most iconic entertainment spaces in the city.

We kicked off IFF this morning at @outernetlondon with an opening from @poferrall, CEO of @outernetglobal, who described the venue as "a platform for creating moments, and imagining what live music can become when you bring all of those things together." We couldn't have said it better ourselves, and we couldn't think of a more fitting place to spend the next few days! by @iff.rocks

With the European festival season barely in the rearview, a stellar panel of promoters and agents gathered at @iff.rocks today in London to unpack the year, with topics ranging from climate impacts, festival identities and alternative programming, and booking further in advance than ever before.

Chaired by IQ editor James Drury, the conference's opening session brought together Stephan Thanscheidt (FKP Scorpio), Emma Banks (CAA), Pavla Slívová (Colours of Ostrava), and James Wright (UTA) to discuss the biggest talking points of the summer season.
