🇬🇧 Pohoda in London: We’re starting to put together the Pohoda 2027 line-up

While we are still looking back on the memories from the anniversary Pohoda 2026, preparations for the next edition are already in full swing. This week, Michal Kaščák and Barbora Bodnárová swapped our office in Svätý Jur for London, At the International Festival Forum (IFF), they are having dozens of meetings with booking agents and discussing performances at Pohoda 2027.

For Pohoda, @iff.rocks is one of the important moments of the year. It brings us together in one place with representatives of artists from all over the world. This year, too, we are therefore discussing specific performances – from headliners to interesting big, established and new names who might take the stage at Trenčín Airport in July 2027.

We’ll be announcing the first names for Pohoda 2027 soon. And if there’s already an artist you’d love to see at next year’s Pohoda, feel free to send us your recommendations 🌻

💬To były inspirujące trzy dni.

Consolidation in the festival sector has “changed the balance of power” in the industry, according to leading agents and festivals speaking at @iff.rocks in London this week.

Speaking on a panel titled ‘Beyond Consolidation: How Festivals, Artists and Independent Agencies Can Thrive Together’, hosted by Roam Artist’s Jess Kinn, Solo agent Charly Beedell-Tuck, Hellfest’s Kem Lalot, and Ejekt Festival’s Giannis Paltoglou told industry figures that the question of whether festivals can grow and preserve their independence comes down to their choice of partners at a time when consolidation is squeezing the level of choice available for acts and agents.

Hear more of what they had to say at iqmagazine.com (🔗in bio).
