One of the greatest challenges I faced during CRPS treatment was the lack of connection and support from others who truly understood my journey. Now, being in remission and on the other side of the hospital bed, I’ve found purpose and joy in reshaping that narrative by providing comfort and encouragement for others. Through the blanket project, I hope to remind those undergoing Complex Regional Pain Syndrome treatment that they are deeply loved, supported, and cared for as they navigate their own path to remission and recovery.🧡🎗️

Today, I stand alongside thousands around the world to Color the World Orange for CRPS Awareness🧡. Since my journey began in 2021, I’ve faced challenges beyond what I could have imagined. But this month, I’m reminded of the incredible strength, courage, and resilience within the CRPS community. I would also not be where I am today without the support from all of my favorite people who have stood by my side through it all. Having such in incredible support system throughout my journey with a chronic illness has been a blessing that I will forever be grateful for. Dropping off comfort blankets at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Lake Nona, the same place I spent four weeks in 2023 fighting through an intensive pain management program for CRPS. Walking back through those doors, not as a patient but as an advocate, was a full circle moment I’ll never forget. This hospital taught me how to fight through the hardest days and now, I hope to bring warmth and hope to others walking a similar path.🧡 by @igniteorangecrps

2 years. Officially two years of life changing spinal cord stimulation. These past two years have been anything but easy. There have been highs, moments where I felt hope, relief, and glimpses of my old self. And there have been lows, challenges, setbacks, and the constant reality of fighting a condition that has no cure.

But through it all, I’ve learned resilience, strength, and the power of advocacy. To those who have stood by my side, my family, friends, and medical team, thank you for believing in me even on the hardest days. And to anyone facing their own fight, you are stronger than you think, and your story is far from over.
