I finally have a title!!🥹

I had a few options in mind, and after a lot of overthinking, I still couldn't decide😂😭, so I asked a few close people for help.
'Heart of a dreamer' ended up getting the most votes, so that's going to be my book's title😌😁

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who helped me choose the title, it means more than words can say🥹💜

This is my first time meeting an online friend, especially from another country! Igor visited Thessaloniki, Greece with an agency and we got to meet in the city centre! I showed him a bookshop with both Greek and English books and he ended up buying four 📚
We exchanged some gifts, he gave me his signed book with his poems and I gave him some copies from my drawings and some bookmarks I make to him🔖
We also had some drinks in a cafe bar near the harbour and we talked about many things. It was really fun 🌙 I am so happy to meet kind people and especially online friends who support me so much! taken in Thessaloniki, Greece - Skg by @igor_the_writer

I pretty much said everything in the post, so I don't know what else to say here😅. I needed this trip and I'm really glad I was brave enough to go. It healed my sad, battered soul a little and brought it back to life, at least for a while🥹 by @igor_the_writer

This week has been tough and exhausting. I haven't posted anything in over a week, and I haven't been that active, so my follower count immediately dropped, which is great🙃😅

So now that the weekend is finally here, here's a poem from my upcoming book “Heart of a dreamer”. It's fitting, considering the week I've had💀

The aesthetic of my upcoming poetry book, “Heart of a dreamer”. Since I recently made a playlist for my book, of course this had to happen too😅😁😎

I have no other ideas for what to post🥲 while I wait for my cover, which is coming along great by the way😊. My cover artist is doing an amazing job and I'm so, so excited to show you all the final version when it's done🥹

It's that time of the month again and Poetry Exchange! And like every month, I just can't help but participate😁

The prompt was “eyes” and at first, I wanted to go in a different direction. I had a line in my head, “If my eyes were to go blind tomorrow,” inspired by a question that needed to be answered in @thistooisholy 's post to enter the Poetry Exchange. And I had the inspiration, but not the time to write, so that idea fluttered away into oblivion😅😭

So then I struggled a bit with what to write about. I tried a few other ideas that all ended in failure, until this poem flew out of me onto paper. Sadness is always my faithful assistant, ready to step in when inspiration is lacking😅💀

Here's a Spotify playlist I made for my poetry book, “Heart of a Dreamer.” A lot of people make playlists for novels and characters, so I thought, why not for a poetry book too, hehe😁😎

As for my poetry book, I'm still working on getting it published as soon as possible. That's why I've been less active around here lately, for which I apologize. I'll be more active again once everything is done💜

Also, I'm home again for a week, off from work. Long live freedom!😂🥹. So I'm hoping to get everything finished soon. And as for my book's release date, that largely depends on the cover and when it'll be ready, so we'll see💜

Here's the list of 56 poems that will be in ‘Heart of the Dreamer’😎

And yes, I know I first said there would be 58, but while formatting, I couldn't resist editing again😅, and in the end, I cut two poems that seemed irreparable to me😅🥲

Speaking of formatting, I somehow managed to finish it yesterday, I don't even know how, but I did😂🥹. All week, my process looked like this: I'd come home from work and open the manuscript, only to format (and edit🫣) one page... and then I closed my laptop and rewarded myself with a three-hour nap🤣🤣.

It wasn't until Friday that I found the energy to format a bit more, thanks to a friend who managed to motivate me💜. And then yesterday, even though I was having a terrible day and didn't feel like formatting at all, I somehow forced myself to sit down at my laptop and get the job done😎.

All that's left are the Acknowledgements and About the Author sections, which I still have to write. I also have to set up an account on IngramSpark and other retailers where I'll be publishing this time, buy an ISBN, and I'm waiting on my friend to make cover for the book (I gave up on doing it myself😂 and put it in the hands of a professional😉😎). And then my book will be ready for publication. So if everything goes according to plan, it might happen this September!!🥹🥹 by @igor_the_writer

I spent my whole vacation working on it ugh🥲, but I did it!🥹

Also, I already have a blurb. I wrote it last night, and I made the post earlier, so I couldn't be bothered to make changes😅
