WGN news interviewed me before the Rams vs Bears Game!

I walked into Bourbon St on Saturday after I went to my cousins wedding. Told them I dig painting live at festivals and would love to paint during the bears game. They said YES! Next thing I know I’m being interviewed by @wgnnews !

✊🏽 Officially recognized by the Cook County Board of Commissioners as an artist who delivers and preserves our Colombian culture and identity.

Blessed to add this feather in the cap to my/our legacy.

Grateful to @esco_bae for getting my name on this documentation.

Special gratitude to @vasquezforcounty and @juanpabloprieto_chicago for drafting up this Resolution.

“RECOGNIZING CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE COLOMBIAN COMMUNITY IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS” is how the resolution begins, and for me to be included in this is truly, deeply, sincerely and honor.

This win comes at such a potent time for me personally, and for our greater Colombian community as a whole with all the INSANE legislation going against our Latino brothers and sisters.

I been having a good time this summer just living man

Worked a popcorn booth at cornfest in Illinois. Hosted a first responders event for the Mokena police and fire department. Been working with my hands and driving through farmlands in a pickup truck. Appreciating the tiny critters of planet earth. Drinking juices. And just L I V I N baby.

My soul needed this summer. Now it’s time to turn it up a notch launching my very professional and new marketing business this week @instinctualmedia by @iiinstinct___

Thanks to @underground_arthouse for having me out to battle last weekend.

I needed that reminder of who the F I am and to let out some pure goofy and playful energy with friends who I haven’t really seen since electric Forest.

Also side note, lowkey my arms looking toned and I’m proud to see some results in my arms. I been hanging out literally on pull up bars and lifting and trying to eat right and to see an improvement is something worth publicly celebrating

@groundwaveshiphop felt personal

First off having access to the behind the scenes and shooting videos for my college hip hop professor and her husband @urbanizedmusicchi had me choked up during most of their set.

When I first stepped on the Chicago hip hop scene I wanted these hip hop heads to rock stages like this, and that manifested this weekend, hence my tears and wholesome gut reactions.

2nd @lilyfangz blessed the stage and set the tone for the day. It’s an honor to rock with you and witness you on this part of your journey and holding space for all the nuances and brainstorming that goes on away from the craft.

3rd, being in rooms, brushing shoulders and having some conversations with people like Murs, Brother Ali, Snow the Product, Dee-1, Killer Mike, June, and so many local Chicago acts making a name for themselves, it’s truly surreal and I felt like I belonged there for what it’s worth. I have my own journey in the hip hop culture and I show up in so many ways, to just know I was amongst legends this weekend in my own way, man I was right where I needed to be.

Thanks to @cooloutchris for everything, and to everyone I ran into. Chicago hip hop is alive and well, let’s keep this momentum moving!

A week in the Rockies with like minded motivated artists and humans was just what I needed.

I’m grateful to have been the content creator and videographer for @mountainsoundcamp this year!

I’ve met so many inspired and talented producers from across North America. I was able to share my rapping skills and insights. I took time to myself in silence and fresh air during the day and night to just sit with myself and everything happening right now in life. In slide 4, you can’t tell but that was a moment where I really held myself and my inner child and cried so much and told myself everything is ok, and that I got me, and I always will.

I’m at a moment where life is overlapping my passions with major life choices and I believe that to be by divine design. I’m more motivated than ever to keep sharing my spirit with the world in creative ways. Especially music.
