Another trip around the sun.
Gratitude first. To my parents, who gave me the nerve. To my brother Tim, who builds the watches beside me and believes before there’s proof. To every friend in these photos and the hundred more who aren’t — you are the reason any of this exists.
This was the year of leaps of faith. I said yes to my first fashion week before I felt ready. I put the watches we build with our own hands on the same stage as the music. I bet on the House of Tempo — on all of you — and you showed up louder than I ever imagined.
Every leap taught me the same thing: your life is the greatest creative project of your life….
Don’t pick just one passion. - @cryqueen.wav and I were just talking about this at brunch.

So here’s my birthday wish, and I’m saying it out loud: tomorrow night, we celebrate together. TIME IN MOTION — my official Chicago Fashion Week show at aliveOne. Eight years of residency in one room, the artists of the house, and select Tempo Time pieces available to purchase with on-site engraving and giveaways through the night.
No ticket. No RSVP. Just come as you are.
Thank you for being my community, my rhythm section, my reason. All are welcome in the House of Tempo. 🤍

THE ARTISTS OF THE HOUSE — JOHNNY 👑
FKA iiimpulsiveee aka @iiinstinct___

If you’ve been to my shows over the last five or six years, you’ve probably seen Johnny creating something.

Photography, videography, live painting, rapping—he’s brought so many sides of himself into House Of Tempo. And somewhere between the shared stages, road trips, late nights and hugs in the middle of Electric Forest, we’ve built a whole collection of moments I wouldn’t trade.

Johnny, thank you for bringing your creativity into this House and your friendship into my life. There’s no one else I’d rather be on this journey with my fellow Colombian parcero.

Mi parcero. Te quiero, hermano. 🤍

Eight years. One house. So many of you who made it feel like home. ❤️🎺

On October 15, I’m celebrating my 8-year residency anniversary at @aliveonechicago —and I’d love to share the night with you.

To everyone who’s danced, played, brought a friend, or walked in alone and stayed: thank you. You’ve given me so many reasons to keep showing up with my trumpet and my whole heart.

All my love to @williamusic , @cryqueen.wav , @fallingflowermusic , and @fovndmusic for the music; @iiinstinct___ for capturing the moments & performing and participating at every capacity. A well deserved shoutout to @creativehummingbird for bringing the nights paintings to life, and @aridaniel.io for showing up time and time again;and OF COURSE @itsme_picasso for keeping us together; and of the queen @flashyflyonthewall for being the heart of the team. Massive love to @thardy711 and @coveredinsawdust for entrusting me with the space at @aliveonechicago and allowing me to build this beautiful family we have before us today.

Whether you’ve been here for years or this will be your first night:

After 5 years from attending the first ever @underground_arthouse Art Battle, it was great to finally return again to create some new work alongside such an incredible roster of artists! Thanks to @flashyflyonthewall for inviting me to be a part of this epic celebration of the Chicago art community. Everyone here came to create art for the love of the game 🙂‍↕️🎨 Always a pleasure to see familiar faces and to connect with new artists.

Wowsers! @mountainsoundcamp 2026 was full of many magical moments. Back this year as a soundselor, I did my best to share all I have to offer, but also learned a great deal too. I loved seeing so many returning faces, and welcomed the new connections.

From fellow staff and campers alike, I found so much inspiration to recharge my creative batteries until the next one comes around. Seeing the fruits of months of collective labor come to fruition was incredibly satisfying. Word really can’t do it all justice, but thanks so much to @gardenboi.sound for seeing what I have to offer, and letting me be a part of such a powerful container for education and community through shared passion.

I can’t possibly tag everyone, but know that I cherished every interaction throughout. I’m particularly grateful for the gremlin squad who embraced my goofiest unfiltered self as we deliriously waited for the sun to rise, and our final meal to be served.

My favorite moments have no tangible documentation, but that makes them all the more magical I think. So excited for everyone’s continued growth. The future of music is bright for this bunch.

1-2: opening circle, inviting the group to join me in a biiiig stretch.
3: immediately felt close to many others, sharing vulnerable perspectives with supportive guidance from @sisterstonemusic
4: jam time at the synth circle
5: deep in flow state, here we see the producer posture spotted in the wild (me), with no notion that @nyquist.music is posing for this pic (read as Steve Irwin)
6: Doing some impromptu track shares / feedback during office hours w/ the bois @mrrippahmusic @owneroftheinternet @junior.funkz @drotti_music
7: discussing (for science) how to emulate noise artifacts like AI generated music w/ @au5_official @underbellybeats and @guesstaccount
8: a lovely view on the road to/from camp
9: beach2beach party with my fellow soundselors
10: the whole gang w/ our featured panelists
11: gremlin sunrise w/ Au5, Underbelly @jordandalemusic @kihansii @philiamusic
12: NICE ROCK!

Thanks to @wavalatesnaps for most of these captures

Even though some people sought shelter during the rain, they still stayed locked in! Because URBANIZED rocks, rain or shine!!!

Salute to the entire GOOD WAVES team for producing such an exceptional festival! Big ups to MURS for bringing a dream to life for so many of us.

The Good Waves Festival was one for the books!!!
