Off-season? Noch nicht! Auf der spanischen Insel war nochmal Full Gas angesagt. 🚀

WTF, I actually won the #redbull400 today?! 😃

Not really used to seeing a finish line that soon, but it was a fun and tight race with some absolute power ladies next to me 💪

My mindset for today: just have fun, nothing to lose — and maybe that’s the key I should use more often 😄

@volkswagen_adventure thanks for the invitation, was nice to be part of your team!🙂

Pretty happy I made it to the start of @trailrunningfestival this year and getting to test the new course was definitely worth it. 😉

Saturday kicked off with the short & spicy Festungstrail (12,3 km +435hm) and a 3rd place finish. That meant starting Sunday’s pursuit race on the Gaisbergtrail (24,6 km+1.280 m) in 3rd, 1:18 behind the leader.

And then… downhill time on my home turf. 💃🏼😏
I made up quite a bit of ground and even took the lead twice, but on the long, flat final section, I eventually had to give in to the Czech road runner.

So apparently, winning this one also requires some high flat speed. Something to work on… 😉
But anyway, happy to take 🥈

Off-season? Not yet. One big race to go.
Stay tuned! 👀

If you want to get better, look on people who are already way faster than you 🤝😜

Did so this weekend at the first @missy.julia.jmpc at @vilavitapannonia with lots of input and a rare glimpse into Olympic-level training.
Thanks @missy.julia for sharing your training data, experiences and thoughts so openly. Definitely not something to take for granted that an Olympic athlete gives such an honest insight into what happens behind the scenes!

Leaving with lots of inspiration and thanks to @lzramsau with plenty of useful personal training data & knowledge.
🙏 to @isano.dailypower for making this trip possible. @reiterflorian.at you did a great job!🙌

And no worries – not switching to road running – the 4 wheel drive stays where it belongs.🏔️😅

Sure, every race is hard in its own way, but some races just feel harder.

This was one of the hard ones for me and also one of the rare races where I wished I had brought my poles with me. 🙈
Instead, I switched on the four-wheel drive 🖐️🦶 and just kept going. 😜

Thanks Stubai, for a tough but absolutely beautiful day in the mountains! 🏔️🫶

Success is never a solo effort. 🤝❤️

Energy was low yesterday, so the fight started from km 1 all the way to the finish line.
Thank God I’m good at suffering. 🙏

Especially with the right people by my side
@benjamin3er & @hhannahh_k 🫶 & all the others!
Every bottle, every cheer, every little push when things got tough. A solid 11/10. 🥹❤️

Happy to take the win and claim another Austrian Champion title. 🇦🇹🏆

a few impressions from my first UTMB week 🙃

arriving to Chamonix & this view 😍

with my love, greatest supporter & lovliest pizza date ever ❤️

picking up my bib

while I was doing a little course check, he did his own triathlon 🚴🏌️🏃🏻😅

that moment when I regret not being part of an international team and getting my ass pampered in a nice team chalet 🙈

one day later – I actually don’t regret it after all, because I realize this is all what I really need 😍

I mean, this place was just perfect to switch off. 🌲⛰️

carbs loading favourite – noodles nearly every day 😋
(no rice for me please 👆😝)

me during the race: drinking like a camel and getting away without a single cramp 💦🙌

Still my favourite shot from my OCC race 🤍

My first time in Chamonix, my longest race so far, well, that was OCC. 🤍

Out of respect for the distance, I chose to run parts of it conservatively and focused on staying strong for the long game. And it worked.

I felt good all the way to the finish. No cramps, a happy stomach and when I crossed the finish line, there was still something left in the tank.

That probably explains why the recovery was surprisingly quick, but it also left me with one very clear thought:

There’s more.

17th place at my first OCC is a result I’m genuinely proud of. But now I know the course, what the race demands and where I can push harder next time.

Thanks to my coach @arne_christian.wolff for bringing me to the start line in top shape and for having the patience & ambition to work with me over the next year to find out just how much more is in there. 🙌

Isabell is motivated. Very motivated. 🤓

Chamonix, see you next year. 🫡⛰️
