A closer look at the making of "TUMBLER", our custom made solid marble bath tub.
.
After almost 10 years of working together, @il_granito challenged @vandervelpen to design something that would be "difficult to make" for their Antwerp HQ.
The inspiration for this design was a crystal whiskey tumbler, hence the name. The bath was crafted from a solid block of marble, which first went through the CNC machine for a solid 550 hours and took 2 months to finish by hand. The beauty of blending design, modern technology and craftsmanship.
.
This bath is the true embodiment of our collaboration, always trying to challenge eachother to push the envelope. We'll share the details of the finished result soon.

DVV OFFICE
A first glimpse inside architect @vandervelpen new showroom reveals an atmosphere of sculptural sophistication and material mastery.
At its center stand two remarkable kitchen islands, crafted from solid blocks of Ivory Onyx and Patagonia Quartzite.
Here, the Patagonia appears to flow effortlessly into the onyx, a seamless transition where contrast becomes harmony—an exquisite expression of contemporary luxury.

Honored to craft the furniture for the new The Jane of @nickbril.
11 years ago, we delivered natural stone for their first location.
Since then, many creations, many stories, one shared journey.
Grateful to continue building beauty together
