Meet Booked. 📚🍸 A little moody, a little playful, and very much Design Happy.

A first look at my room for Kips Bay Dallas! @kbshowhouse A library made for lingering, where books share space with cocktails and color has plenty to say. Think rich layers, playful patterns, and a cozy banquette for conversations that run late.

Swipe through the renderings… I can’t wait to bring this one to life!

Bath tub delivery at our new built project in the outskirts of Antwerp!
.
Due to the size and weight of this solid natural stone tub, it had to be installed even before the ceilings and windows go in.
.
It sure made it an exciting day on site.

MADE TO MEASURE, on film.
A roll we’ve been saving from our Kips Bay room, and maybe our favorite way we’ve seen it captured.

Made to Measure began with Bill Blass and his legendary Sutton Place apartment: collected, tailored, deeply personal and seemingly unconcerned with what was “in.” We weren’t interested in recreating it. We were interested in what made it so good. Antiques with provenance. Classical forms next to unexpected objects. Patina. Restraint. A little wit. Things that looked as though they had arrived over decades rather than on install day.

The press called it “urbane sophistication grounded not in trends, but in enduring taste” and “polished yet approachable, refined without rigidity.” We’ll happily take both.

But on film, we think you can see something else: the room had a point of view without taking itself too seriously. A buffalo skull, a Navajo saddle blanket, Roman profiles, a giant foot, Apollo, a staircase model. Somehow, it all belonged. That was the point.

If you could ask a shop who's thriving in high-end stone work anything, what would it be?

Or if you’re already doing this work, what’s one piece of advice you have? Drop your questions or advice below 👇

This cosy little vanity resides in the glamorous closet in the primary suite at H house. Arabescato marble and walnut paneling create a consistent material palette, while the pink pouffe provides a little softness.
