Who can do Illini 4000 and how? The Bike America Ride can seem big and scary at first, but we like to remind people: if 19 generations of Illini 4000 riders (that is, students from all sorts of financial and athletic backgrounds, majors, and countries) have successfully done the ride before you, then you can too ☺︎ We strongly believe Illini 4000 is a transformative experience for everyone 🧡

They say it’s impossible to be sad when riding bikes with your friends, and we’re here to confirm: it’s true! Join PopCycle, Illini Cycling, and Illini 4000 for a social ride this Friday, 5pm, starting at the Campus Bike Center. At a chill ~15mi distance, 11-13mph pace, and with the help of refreshing, locally-made $4 popsicles, you’re sure to have a lovely time 🚴‍♀️☀️🧊

You must wear a helmet and ride a bike with working brakes to join. Safety first 🫡 by @illini4000
