Full view of the lighting design for @yaarmorjim and stills of our fish string art pieces.

The entire lighting of this high-end cocktail bar is based on diffused lighting that is reflected off the walls instead of shining directly on surfaces. We achieved this with 3 distinct installations, with the centerpiece being the matched pair of fish string art wall lights.

All the talks of coloured strings aside, you simply cannot beat the elegance of just white string work. There's something so magical about it! Or maybe I am just biased. Whatever it is, I feel like this look is a classic. It looks good practically everywhere and continues to do so for a very long time. taken in Goa by @illium_art

One of the best things about this form is that I can easily layer various patterns and strings and still maintain a really clean look. When it comes to exposing the anchors that hold the screws in place, I am firmly undecided 😅

I like that these don't have the screws showing but I also will create pieces where they will show. I love to do both.

Ever since I started making this string art lights, people have always told me to use coloured strings. Back then I wasn't keen on it. But things have changed since then. I have become a different person. A person who loves colors. And so this time around, it was a foregone conclusion that I will be using colours. In fact, I am looking forward to building up a palette of beautiful strings of various colours, just so that I can use them in my work.
