One of the shortest sessions I have done on sand but I really like how it turned out. ☺️✨ taken in Mandrem, Goa, India by @shailpik

Today was the 25th piece. It felt really good. It's been such a trip getting here! But I am still very excited about exploring this form and mode more. Hence, there is likely to be a lot more of these.

While the actual 25th piece was done in the morning, I went and did an evening session as well and that's where I did the little collection of individuals. There was actually a 5th one too but I didn't document it to allow it to be truly ephemeral. It's likely that only I saw it properly. And may be two or three others by the torch light. Oh, and a cute couple who chose to sit nearby, however, they were so into each other that it is quite likely they were in a warm and fuzzy place of their own.

The evening session was mostly about me enjoying the beach and the water and the sunset. The art was just because I was too amped up by some staff spinning and dancing I was doing. I needed to slow it down.

On that note, spinning the staff felt extra good today. It really felt like something unlocked. And then I got invited to a very special sound based experience. Overall, it was a good day for art and a great day to be alive! taken in Mandrem Beach, Goa by @shailpik

It started as a meditation. As a way to channel creative energy without getting overwhelmed. Then I met @miniteshtapre through @pu__who and saw M doing sand art that I had already admired earlier.

Inspired, I borrowed a stick and got to making my doodle meditation on the sand. It translated rather well. And the best part is that I didn't have to worry about whether to keep the art, whether it can be sold, whether it means anything. It lasts hardly a few hours before the next tide washes it clean.

This temporary nature of it is strangely soothing. I do not have to worry about anything. I can wholeheartedly enjoy the process and then go my way. No attachment. No responsibility. Only flow. And trace left behind.

Thank you @jeromefitere @divyapareekk for the photos of me.

For those in Goa, find me on low tide mornings and evenings at Mandrem beach, doodling. I really enjoy the conversations that it sparks and those who choose to make their own pieces alongside me. taken in Mandrem Beach by @shailpik
