A proper kitchen deserves a proper flame, @ilveranges 🤌 Cooking on a gas range has been amazing. I’ve only had electric but this new ILVE stove takes everything up a notch. Not to mention it’s beautiful craftsmanship that fits right into our kitchen. Tonight I’m making one of my favorite dinner recipes for Lauren. #ILVE #ILVEPartner Full ingredients list below:

Ingredients:
200 g tagliatelle pasta
10-12 cherry tomatoes, cubed
½ red onion, sliced
1 handful fresh spinach
3 garlic cloves, grated
2 tbsp pasta sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
100 ml cooking cream
250-300 ml vegetable broth (add more if needed)
Salt & pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan, for topping
Shrimp (cook separately then add)

I put the stove on medium heat and threw everything into the pan and let the stove do its thing! Easy as 1, 2, 3! 🤌

The crown jewel of our 1830 Forge Cottage kitchen.

We designed the entire space around this emerald green range with copper accents… it was always meant to be the statement piece.

We have an ILVE range in our main house and love using it every day, so it was an easy decision to bring one into the Forge Cottage too.

It’s one of those pieces that doesn’t just function beautifully… it completely sets the tone for the whole kitchen. We linked it in our bio if you’re curious.

A Park Slope townhouse with history in its bones and modern design at its core.

At 205 14th Street in Brooklyn, this reimagined Gilded Age residence pairs preserved architectural character with a calm, contemporary interior palette. At the heart of the kitchen: a 36-inch #ILVE Majestic Dual Fuel Range in Stainless Steel with Polished Chrome knobs and trim.

Twice-baked. Timelessly Italian. 🇮🇹✨

Crisp, golden and made for dipping. Save this classic Almond Biscotti recipe for your next baking day with ILVE. ☕️

🇮🇹 CLASSIC ITALIAN ALMOND BISCOTTI

🥣 INGREDIENTS

2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp sea salt
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp almond extract
Zest of 1 orange
1 cup whole almonds, lightly toasted
Dark chocolate for dipping (optional)

👨‍🍳 LET’S BAKE

1️⃣ PREHEAT
Set your ILVE oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ MIX
Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla, almond extract and orange zest.

3️⃣ FOLD
Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then gently fold in the toasted almonds.

4️⃣ SHAPE + BAKE
Divide the dough in half and form two flattened logs.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until lightly golden.

5️⃣ SLICE
Cool for about 10 minutes, then use a serrated knife to cut each log diagonally into biscotti.

6️⃣ BAKE AGAIN
Reduce the oven to 300°F (150°C).

Arrange the biscotti cut-side down and bake for 10–12 minutes per side, until crisp and golden.

7️⃣ FINISH
Cool completely and, if you’re feeling indulgent, dip one end in melted dark chocolate. 🍫

Serve alongside a fresh espresso and enjoy a little taste of Italy at home. ☕️🇮🇹

I loved this house for 10 years before I ever knew she would be ours.

I drove past her more times than I could count, wondering what she looked like inside. Then one day, I finally got my chance to walk through those doors—at an estate sale.

Not long after, she came up for sale…and somehow I convinced Steven that this 1968 home should be ours.

Since then, we’ve been reimagining her one room at a time. Wallpaper, color, molding, antiques, estate sale finds and Facebook Marketplace treasures—all while keeping the original details that made me fall in love with her in the first place.

There’s still so much I want to do around here, which might be my favorite part.

So if you love old houses, estate sales, decorating and watching a home slowly become something really special, come along.
