The cat is finally out the bag!
I’m incredibly excited to begin another project that represents the intersection of AI, technology, medical advancement, pathology, and growth.

After spending years measuring, dissecting, and grossing human tissue, it is truly a privilege to now be on the front end of introducing AI-assisted grossing technology to Birmingham.

To witness the evolution of pathology firsthand—from traditional hands-on techniques to innovative technology designed to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and patient care…is both exciting and rewarding.

This is more than just a new project. It represents progress, innovation, and the future of pathology.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of something that has the potential to transform how we work, enhance what we do, and continue pushing our profession forward.

Emma’s Roses is back for another holiday season. 🌹

Created in honor of my mother, Emma Jean Crayton, this initiative allows us to continue her legacy of strength, generosity, and caring for others.

This year, we’ll support three families led by hardworking single mothers in the Greater Birmingham and Gadsden areas.

🌹 Nominations close on November 7th.

No one told me that 5 weeks without the kid would be challenging. We have never been apart this long since birth 😵‍💫. He’s enjoying engineering camp and I couldn’t be more proud, but I don’t think I was prepared for the separation. So instead of counting the days… I’m learning to make the days count!

So proud of my son! My Little Einstein, Jimmy Neutron, my Dexter’s Laboratory of a kid is all grown up and I am not ok. 11th grade was one for the books 📚. Balancing Band, TSA, Engineering Academy, Beta Club, Math team, and working at Publix does not go unnoticed. Continue to walk in excellence, challenge yourself beyond the imaginable, and enjoy the journey. 12th grade here we come. I see you and will forever cheer you on. Emma’s Roses was honored to gift mothers and daughters the opportunity to attend, creating space for love, connection, and shared experiences across generations.

From quiet moments of reflection to laughter and genuine connection, the energy in the room spoke for itself, uplifting, empowering, and filled with love.

I am still a little overwhelmed from the outpour of love throughout this entire week. Thank you God for the blessing and favor.

To my amazing husband, Chatman, thank you for pouring so much love into celebrating me. I’m so grateful to have you by my side. Still not sure how you pulled this secret off, but you really out did yourself. I love you @chatmanhill_realtor 💛

Turning 40 feels intentional, it feel like a moment to pause, reflect, appreciate, and step forward with gratitude. I feel incredibly thankful for everyone who came to celebrate with me. It means so much to have the people I love in one room. This is what makes life special.
