Claire-Anya’s journey with IMACS began in 4th grade—and she’s been turning challenging problems into opportunities to grow ever since! 🎓✨

A top 1% graduate and summa cum laude student, Claire-Anya earned a 1520 SAT, completed 14 AP courses, became a three-time VEX Robotics State Qualifier, founded a STEM outreach initiative for young women, and completed 1,200 hours of community service.

After being accepted to outstanding universities including Cornell, Michigan, UVA, Notre Dame, and UNC-Chapel Hill, she chose the University of Florida Honors Program and Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, where she’ll study biomedical engineering while exploring future paths in medicine and patent law.

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of Claire-Anya’s educational journey since elementary school! 💙 Her story is a wonderful example of how curiosity, perseverance, and critical thinking can open doors to an extraordinary future. #IMACS #IMACSStudent #SuccessSpotlight #STEM #BiomedicalEngineering #FutureEngineer #UniversityOfFlorida by @imacslive

Your kid finished the math book early, so you bought the next one. That isn't enrichment 👇

Paid partnership with @imacslive

A kid who's ahead in math can usually see how to do the problem before she even starts it, and so the next workbook mostly teaches her to be fast and right… which feels great, right up until she meets a problem she can't see the end of.

I watched that land in my honors classes for eleven years. Bright kids, ahead their whole lives, and give them an assignment with no model and every hand went up at once.

What I look for now, for my own kids, is a program that places them by what they can actually do, hands them problems they haven't been shown how to solve, puts them in a live room with a teacher and kids at their level, and gives them work they own between classes.

For my two youngest that's IMACS, every Tuesday morning, and they ask to do their prep work almost as soon as class ends.

If your kid is in grades 1 to 6 and ahead in math, comment IMACS and I'll send you the link to try a free class. (The full review, including the one thing I'd change, is on my site.)

That’s the kind of confidence we want to build at IMACS.

We absolutely want our students to become stronger mathematicians. But we also want them to become kids who are comfortable thinking, experimenting, getting stuck, trying again, and eventually finding their own way through a difficult problem.

Because one day the problems won’t come with an answer key.

We’re teaching them to trust their brains. by @imacslive

What if math wasn’t the subject your child had to “get through”… but the class they couldn’t wait to get to?

At IMACS, kids don’t just memorize formulas or race through worksheets. They explore patterns, solve puzzles, make connections, and learn to think mathematically.

Because getting better at math isn’t only about doing more math.

It’s about learning how to think. 🧠✨

And when kids discover they’re capable of solving something that once looked impossible? That confidence starts showing up everywhere.

Sometimes the best learning happens when a child is given the space to think, wonder, and figure it out.

That’s what we love to see at IMACS—curious minds at work.
Math. Logic. Computer Science. A different way to learn.
Or, if you want something even more casual:
Just a little IMACS brainpower in action.

We love watching our students think, question, problem-solve, and discover what they’re capable of.

And a super short option that would feel very natural on Instagram:
Curiosity looks good on them.

Here’s to raising kids who aren’t afraid to ask why? and keep going until they figure it out. by @imacslive

What does meaningful enrichment look like years later? ➡️

For one longtime IMACS student, the journey began with Math Enrichment and continued all the way to University Computer Science.

But his fathersays the greatest value wasn’t simply getting ahead. It was developing the critical thinking, logic, and problem-solving skills that helped him grow at every stage.

That’s what IMACS is all about: building capable, confident thinkers for the long run. ❤️

This was the mindset shift for me.

I used to think getting better at math meant more practice, more repetition, more memorization.

Then I watched what happened when my kids started learning to reason through problems instead.

IMACS teaches math as a way of thinking, not a list of steps to remember.

A child can be incredibly bright and still struggle with math. And a child can get good grades while being completely bored.

That’s why I love that IMACS meets kids at their ability level, not simply their age or grade.

The goal isn’t just getting ahead. It’s giving kids the right amount of challenge to keep them thinking, growing, and believing they’re capable. by @imacslive

Before deciding your child simply “isn’t a math kid,” it might be worth changing how they’re being taught.

IMACS uses logic, puzzles, problem-solving, and discovery to help kids understand the WHY behind math—not just memorize another procedure.

Sometimes a different approach is all it takes. 💡 by @imacslive

Your child doesn’t need to memorize more math. They need to understand how it works. 🧠✨

At IMACS, we help kids build the logic, reasoning, and problem-solving skills that make math actually make sense—and give them the confidence to tackle problems they’ve never seen before.

Because the goal isn’t just getting the right answer.

It’s raising kids who know how to think their way to it.

The “but why?” phase might be one of the most important ones. 👀

Every question is a chance to think a little deeper, make a connection, and figure out how something actually works.

At IMACS, we don’t want kids to stop asking why. We give them better problems to ask “why?” about. by @imacslive

We’re continuing to enroll new IMACS students throughout September, and your child can even try their first class for FREE before you commit.

Come see what makes IMACS different, meet our instructors, and let your child experience the kind of math that gets them thinking, problem-solving, and asking for more.

✨ Fall enrollment is still open. Come try a class on us!
