Looking back at ICC SHOWS 💚 The presentations of Fantastic Futures, The Power of S, ATRÁS and PHANTOM at ICC SHOWS in Sofia received financial support from the Gobierno de Canarias @gobcanarias through the Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural @icdcultural. From 26 February to 1 March 2026, these four works brought artists and audiences together at @toplocentrala and @derida_stage, opening a space for dance and performativity through tenderness, pleasure, intimacy and attention. 26 FEB · Fantastic Futures by @georgievnow

DRAGANA ZAREVSKA Throughout the summer, Garage Collective (ICC) hosted artist @telemamasita as part of an Erasmus+ traineeship from Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Fine Arts (FaVU), Czech Republic. Her time with us became a period of concentrated artistic research, experimentation and production, bringing together music, visual art and audiovisual practice. During the traineeship, Dragana composed and wrote lyrics and texts for eight original tracks for her forthcoming album. She developed the musical and conceptual direction of the songs, experimenting with different vocal and musical approaches while working on their structures, arrangements and overall artistic development. Alongside the music, she explored visual and audiovisual ideas and materials, allowing the different parts of the project to develop in dialogue with one another. The process moved between writing, composing, recording, experimenting, listening and performing, using the studio as a space for testing possibilities and finding new directions. Through local mentorship, shared working spaces and exchange with the artistic context around Garage Collective, Dragana further developed an interdisciplinary approach connecting music, visual art and audiovisual media. We are happy to have hosted and accompanied this process, and to have shared a period of experimentation, making and exchange. 💜💜💜 by @imaginativecc

Throughout this year's edition of HOT BODIES, 🔥 shared practices became an essential part of the programme, creating spaces for exchange, experimentation, and connection. In 📍 Burgas, all five artists - @antonmladenov03, @b2au4er, @emiliaradicheva, @linnlindstroms, and @chocolenna shared their individual practices and artistic ideas with the local dance community, opening the studio to dialogue and exploration. In 📍 Sofia, HOT BODIES created 🔥 quite a buzz. @israelaloni's and @georgievnow's shared practices filled the studios with dancers eager to learn, exchange, and move together. ‼️CLOSED‼️ Part of the programme for the second edition of YOU ARE NOT ALONE Festival will be shaped through recommendations from artists, cultural workers, and audiences. We believe that curating also happens through conversations, encounters, friendships, shared experiences, and the collective knowledge that travels between communities. This is why we are opening a Call for Recommendations. This is not an open call for applications. Instead, we invite you to recommend a work by another artist, something you’ve experienced that has remained with you. The festival is particularly interested in works that explore relations, plurality, reciprocity, coexistence, collective movement, care, celebration, and the many ways communities are imagined and practiced today. Dance, choreography, performance, live art, interdisciplinary practices, and hybrid formats are all welcome. You don’t need to prepare an application. A title, a link, a photo, a video, a website, or simply the artist’s name is enough. We’ll take care of the rest. Temporarily Not Available itssss hereeee - the trailer of a new solo work 💥 Temporarily Not Available explores a highly equipped persona and their temporary systems of support. Carrying layers of preparedness, the work navigates regulation, hyper-alertness and adaptation, and how support structures can function both as anchors and conditions for risk-taking. Moving between preparedness and withdrawal, the figure experiments with the fragile pleasure of disappearing without leaving. On 🗓 May 24, the artists of ❤️‍🔥 HOT BODIES #5 visited one of Sofia's newest spaces dedicated to dance and choreographic research 👉 @baza.space. During their visit, they had the opportunity to meet the artists participating in the Trilateral Dance Artist Exchange, a program that brings together dance artists from 🇺🇸 Philadelphia (USA), 🇭🇺 Budapest (Hungary), and 🇧🇬 Sofia (Bulgaria) to share methods, questions, and choreographic practices across different cultural contexts. The participants attended an open sharing presentation as part of 🔥 GWYN - Get What You Need, a platform dedicated to artistic process, feedback, and exchange. Through witnessing works-in-progress and engaging in conversations with the artists, they gained valuable insight into different approaches to creation, collaboration, and international artistic exchange.
