Throughout this year's edition of HOT BODIES, 🔥 shared practices became an essential part of the programme, creating spaces for exchange, experimentation, and connection. In 📍 Burgas, all five artists - @antonmladenov03, @b2au4er, @emiliaradicheva, @linnlindstroms, and @chocolenna shared their individual practices and artistic ideas with the local dance community, opening the studio to dialogue and exploration. In 📍 Sofia, HOT BODIES created 🔥 quite a buzz. @israelaloni's and @georgievnow's shared practices filled the studios with dancers eager to learn, exchange, and move together. The energy in the room was truly inspiring. ❤️ Today, we're sharing a few 📸 moments from these gatherings, beautifully captured by @nataliyasdrnko. _ HOT Bodies #5 is produced by @imaginativecc / Imaginative Choreographic Center, Garage Collective, and ZONA - Organization for Cultural Practices. Temporarily Not Available itssss hereeee - the trailer of a new solo work 💥 Temporarily Not Available explores a highly equipped persona and their temporary systems of support. Carrying layers of preparedness, the work navigates regulation, hyper-alertness and adaptation, and how support structures can function both as anchors and conditions for risk-taking. Moving between preparedness and withdrawal, the figure experiments with the fragile pleasure of disappearing without leaving. Created within HOTBodies #5 Residency Programme 2025 / Imaginative Choreographic Center, presented at Toplocentrala, Sofia Bulgaria. @hot_bodies_icc @imaginativecc @toplocentrala music created by @spitzweg_erich rigging by @ivan_naniov beautiful forest lights @oldmansava video @vivianparvanova Supported by the @nationalculturefund, Program Debuts, Culture Fund of Burgas Municipality, Sofia Municipality: Culture - Development of Cultural Organizations and Artists in Sofia, Mobility ’26, ArtSofia, and @acf_sofia Accompanying Artist Support @acenow @israelaloni @zhanapencheva @dbardam ✨

On 🗓 May 24, the artists of ❤️‍🔥 HOT BODIES #5 visited one of Sofia's newest spaces dedicated to dance and choreographic research 👉 @baza.space. During their visit, they had the opportunity to meet the artists participating in the Trilateral Dance Artist Exchange, a program that brings together dance artists from 🇺🇸 Philadelphia (USA), 🇭🇺 Budapest (Hungary), and 🇧🇬 Sofia (Bulgaria) to share methods, questions, and choreographic practices across different cultural contexts. The participants attended an open sharing presentation as part of 🔥 GWYN - Get What You Need, a platform dedicated to artistic process, feedback, and exchange. Through witnessing works-in-progress and engaging in conversations with the artists, they gained valuable insight into different approaches to creation, collaboration, and international artistic exchange. Experiences like these are an essential part of ❤️‍🔥 HOT BODIES #5, creating opportunities for participants to connect with diverse artistic communities, expand their professional networks, and encounter a wide range of choreographic practices. 🔥🔥🔥 Thank you to BAZA and the Trilateral Dance Artist Exchange artists for welcoming our participants into your process. On May 23, the stage of the @drama_theatre_burgas hosted the first public presentation of the participants’ works 🎭✨ Today we invite you to take a closer look at these emerging artistic landscapes through the lens of the photographer @nataliyasdrnko 📸, who documented both the showing itself and the creative processes behind each evolving piece.
