Happy Monday! “Forehead Kisses” music video is out NOW! Link in bio.

Sending an oh so special shout-out to @aaronmitchellreese for working with me in order to bring this song and story to life. You are da bestest. I love this video and the story that it tells. Thank you for being timely, efficient, paying attention to detail, willingness to share knowledge, considerate of critiques, and for your innate PASSION to create beautiful art by any means! It’s always a delight to work with you. THANK YOU. 🙏🏾💐

Shout to @thedavidomari for leaning into this piece eloquently and gracefully. We met on the day we shot, however, your calmness and work ethic made it EASY to work with you. Also, so thankful that we’d both had some experience with an intimacy coach from previous show(s), so setting those necessary boundaries and cultivating a safe space was already a priority before doing anything. THANK YOU🙏🏾💐

Thankkkk youuuuuu @camilledy.makeup for always slaying my makeup. You made me look so pretty, dewy, and glowyyyy 🫶🏾🙏🏾💐 THANK YOU.

“Piece by Piece
I fall a part
As I stare up at the stars
‘Cause I have to walk away
From this Sweet Escape
Squeeze me tight and hold me close
Don’t let go ‘til I say so
Shower me, shower me, shower me
Shower me with
Forehead Kisses” - Khaleeah

Here’s to the 58th Annual Jeff Awards! 🥂

It was a delight to simply be in the space surrounded by storytellers, who use their voices, their mind, their personal experiences, and their bodies to tell a story….

The Black Ensemble Theater did their big WON this year! Not once. Not twice, but FOUR times!!! It is only divine that my introduction to the Jeff Awards be because of the wonderful opportunity to be in the cast of “Men of Soul” written and directed by 2026 Jeff Award Winning Director, Daryl D. Brooks! Thank you Black Ensemble Theater for being a home away from home for the Summer, and for helping me grow as an artist! We did THAT! And Happy 50 years of making art and training the next generation of creatives. Big love to my beautiful castmates and production team ✨🌟💫

🏆:
Special Award
Jackie Taylor - Black Ensemble Theater - 50 Years (Eradicating Racism Since 1976)

Production — Revue
“Men of Soul”- Black Ensemble Theater

Director — Revue
Daryl D. Brooks - “Men of Soul”- Black Ensemble Theater

Chicago Black Dance Legacy Project 2026!
@chicagoblackdancelegacyproject

Dancing The Archive: Embodied Histories, Collective Power

There were so many beautiful and extremely talented artists in the room. I was getting chills throughout the entire process. I have a deep reverence for dancers because it is such a gift to be able to tell a story with your body.

It was an honor to be able to take part in commemorating Black creatives and activists who have passed on with a song for this year’s performance.🤍🕊️🪽🦋

“Precious Lord, take my hand,
Lead me on, let me stand,
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn;
Through the storm, through the night,
Lead me on to the light:
Take my hand, precious Lord,
Lead me home.” —— Thomas A. Dorsey by @imkhaleeah
