“Can you help me feel love, love
’Cause I’m not made of steel”

Beneath his imposing exterior was a sensitive and gentle giant 💚❤️‍🩹

“In death or life we’ll always be”

I’ve been loving “Creepy Green Light” lately🥹💚🖤 I find it more romantic than dark and creepy, and I think it’s an underrated song.

Interview with Peter Steele at L’Amour (1993).

I love this interview because it seems so casual and I love how Peter sounded and looked here🥹💚 That thick, old-school Brooklyn accent is just perfect, and he looked so cute and handsome with his hat, glasses, and hoop earring❣️ Johnny (who had just joined Type O at that time) and Kenny chime in during the interview too, and Josh of course is nowhere to be found. 😂

New username just dropped. 💚🖤 I do feel less miserable when I listen to a Type O song, rewatch a Type O interview, or rewatch the After Dark audio commentary track for the hundredth time. 🤣 And I love that my favorite duo had the same exact answer when asked if they were happy.

I’ll link the full interview from the second pic on my story.

Q&A with Peter Steele from Delirium Magazine (1994). Interview by Michael Moynihan.

MM: “Like Steele himself, the new Type O masterpiece Bloody Kisses presents a range of emotions from sensual sadness to outright animalistic rage. But wrapped up in a dressing of almost pop-melodies, it’s surprisingly enjoyable. No doubt it will stick in the throats of some, mainly those who might like the taste but can’t stomach the opinions of the man who created it.”

Well, luckily, I have a cast-iron stomach and I am always interested in (hungry for) reading and listening to Peter’s raw thoughts. I thought the shift from him talking about his philosophy regarding humanity and civilization to him talking about women was amusing, to say the least. 😭

MM: “Where would you most like to live out your days?”

Peter: “Iceland or Newark, NJ—I can’t decide.”

I’m still laughing at that last answer. 🤣 Oh, I’m sure it must’ve been so difficult to decide between those two.
