SUCCESS CAN BE LEARNED. Forget what anyone says about failure, let’s focus on success. It is a process and that process can be learned. It does take hard work, it does take effort and it does take a long hard look in the mirror at what you’re outputs are. 💩 If your focus is ‘chilling’ and taking time to just chat with friends about the latest ‘Gossip Girl’ episode then you’re never going to reach the next level. 🚀 Focus on what makes the boat go faster, bring people into your circle who make you work harder - they HAVE to have the same or bigger aspirations than you. You need that drive and you need that focus. Take a fucking hard look at whether everything you are doing is for the greater good. Are you the best version of yourself? by @immattking
ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF. You might be thinking, why ‘SalesChange’? Who is this guy turning up in his branded gear and always wearing a cap.. I’m Matt - I started SalesChange in October 2019 and I started posting on Instagram in May 2020. SalesChange is my brand and my company - it’s all about networking, it’s all about collaboration, all the things that lead to sales.. that’s my idea of fun. I’m a married father of 5 (yes, you read that right) and I also have a day job - SalesChange is my side hustle, something which lights the passion inside of me. My day job is where I live and breathe what I teach and preach for SalesChange - I run a multi-million pound company across two continents - the UK and the USA. I served in the British Army for 9 years and I’ve worked in sales for the last 15.. I’d love to hear what you do, why you’re on Instagram and tell me an interesting fact about you that no-one else knows on Instagram.. See you in the comments. P.s - my first ever free e-book arrives in just 13 days, plus free access to my Clique.. excited is an understatement! #saleschange #salescoach #sales #salescoaching by @immattking
I truly believe this. When you are doing things on a daily basis that make you laugh, smile and you have that anticipation on what the day will bring then it won’t feel like work. It will feel like you’re playing games, messing around and just being in the moment is so much easier! If you work somewhere that doesn’t make you smile - leave. Get out of that place and be happy doing what you love. What do think? Do you agree? 🔥 Let me know in the comments below. 👇🏻 Follow @saleschange for more. by @immattking
THE DEATH OF SALESCHANGE Totally ripped from the 'Death of Superman' comic but it's all to symbolise that I'm evolving and just like the comic, I'm not actually dying. Its more like the end of an era. SalesChange is my business brand and everything that I do on this page 'has' to be linked to that - its too niche and it doesn't represent who I am and what I want to talk about so I'm going personal. I am more than SalesChange and I have a lot more ventures than just SalesChange but I don't want to manage several social channels to bring them all to the world (plus, as we all know - growing that audience will take forever). So, I'm pivoting (haven't heard that word since 2020) to showcase my personal brand - offering up everything that I'm about and not just focusing on the business side of things. It started with letting you guys see the wedding photo yesterday but I want to still post carousels (they are bloody fun) but I also want to bring some of the other fun stuff I do - I host other podcasts, I host other marketing events and I am now a part of other marketing activities. SalesChange was always a vehicle to allow me to be a part of other businesses but trying to grow that was limiting - the exposure for the business ALWAYS comes through me because thats what I do - so it's now the right time to step away from a brand and be me. THE REASON YOU'RE LOSING SALES Every client has a choice - to work with you or to work with your competitor. What seperates you from them is presence. Being there when they need you the most. But how can you 'be there' when you don't know when they will need you? Simple, be there all the fucking time. Show up consistently with value, never let them forget your name and how you can help them. So many salespeople reach out and then 'expect' the client to remember them 6 months later when it's time to place that order - it doesn't work like that. Be there always, offer value. Mop up where your competitors are lacking. Agree? Follow @saleschange for more. Join me on my journey to reach 50k followers this year. HOW TO COPY AND BE UNIQUE I hear it a lot, copying is BAD. And yes, when you just copy styles (yellow and fonts exactly the same as Dain) or you copy content (using the words AND styles of others) thats really bad. I used to try and emulate 'styles' because I wanted to do what worked but that just made me fall into the trap of 'fitting in' - no-one wants to fit in, thats the breeding ground of mediocrity. I 'tried' to stand out just by putting my face on the cover but then a lot of other personal brands showed their face - the only differentiator was my face.. Was that enough? Probably but I didn't want 'just enough' - I wanted to stand out. Some copying is good - I copied the title layout from 'Have I Got News for You' on the BBC, I copied the barcode elements from RAYE (Music Artist) and I made templates using a new font pairing and launched back into the game with a fresher style. Much innovation is actually just recombination. Take what you like, steal it - recombine it with your own personality and bring something that 'looks' fresh into your audiences feed. Don't just blindly copy - thats boring as fuck. Try and do shit to stand out - thats where the growth is. Follow @saleschange for more. Join me on my journey to 50k followers this year. NEVER LOWER YOUR PRICE - ADD MORE VALUE. Your price is your value, once you have it set - don't negotiate. When your clients ask "What can we do about the price?" - negotiate a different path - look at additional services you can offer, don't jump into a discount war and don't just lower your price for the business. It will always come back to haunt you. Always. You will be asked time and time again to offer the same price, you will have to discount further works and then, you'll lose ground. It will already be over before its begun. Do you lower your prices? Follow @saleschange for more. Join me on my journey to 50k this year. E X W A Y W A V E I’m off to Canada for a business trip on Sunday for a week (with 3 days in NYC later on in the week) and I like sightseeing - if you’ve seen my vlogs, that normally includes a lot of walking because I can’t take my larger skateboard on a plane. BUT that’s about to change - the Exway Wave board (pictured here) comes with a travel battery option - it needs to be less than 100Wh to go on a plane - so I’ll be taking my board on my travels 🤟🏻 Did you know I’m a brand ambassador for this global brand? Have you ever ridden an electric skateboard? For 💰 off your board - check my link in bio. #electricskateboard #exway #exwayboard #exwaywave #exwayelectricskateboards #exwayboard6 #canada #brand #mattking #socialmediamarketing✌ by @immattking
