I worked on this dress’s sample for quite sometime, Tanweer and I constantly having to fit and re-fit. The bodice section was actually derived from a dress my mother owns, and was then just altered to fit snugly on Tanweer. The skirt section was freestyled; pleated by Master Pleats and ended up gauging it’s length and size just before attachment. Combining the leather and pleats, creating a strong juxtaposition.

DBZ Arabic Dub - دراغون بول زد

a subculture of japanese animation, merged with the arabic speaking dialogue, initially dubbed in september 2003.

Although more popular than previous japanese dubbed shows, the numerous plot holes caused by censorship meant dragon ball z’s arabic dub concluded with only 53 episodes. Ending on the Frieza Saga, and both Goku + Krillin’s name being changed.

reimagined through a tee shirt, the graphic is a nostalgic play on what could have been and what was.
