*life update* • hi friends, i want to share that i’m moving to Albuquerque, NEW MEXICO, at the end of the month! • i’ve both loved & really struggled in LA, & financially speaking, it’s just unsustainable atm • i’m excited to live in the desert, rebuild my mental health, save some $ (i already have a job, praise God), make new friends (transexuals hello) & grow the friendships i already have there, organize, write poems, invite everyone i know to come read, & to continue nurturing my understanding of what it means & asks of me to be a human being in these “americas” • it was love at first sight w NM & the southwest, since first traveling there w @enchilalma, so them & me & the kitty are headed that way • i’ll miss the wildlife of LA, the Birds of Paradise, the birds in general, butterflies, the river, the food, Stories, LAFC, &, of course, the new friends i’ve been beginning to make, yr girl just needs some stability so she can keep doing her work! (also, i’ll visit often, cuz it’s just a short journey in west coast temporal geography) • grateful to have been a guest here on Tongva land & in the amazing region generally known as Southern California—you’ve changed my life 🌹💋🫀♾️ taken in Albuquerque, New Mexico by @imogen.xtian

july 29 ‘26 • my ever-expanding & expansive collection of saints • while *famously* neither Christian nor idol worshipper, i come to the saints of various traditions again & again • for me, they’re reminders to stay present, to care for & hold emotions, knowledges, awarenesses, to get through the day w a deeper understanding of dailiness • as in, you aren’t the only, the first, or the last • a saint is an essence of what they represent, a reminder, rejoinder—not a remedy, but a well of hope w/in the human quotidian 🤲🏻🫀🌹
